Finally Free: Free At Last?

It’s still weird you know the feeling of happiness.  It fills you up with bubblyness and you feel so light, weightless and care free. It can come up whenever it wants to and when you least expect it. Like when Jae kisses me, it creeps up then, and like when he asked to spend the rest of his life with me, it was like a volcano erupting then. And when I wake up in a morning and find the one person I can’t get enough of, the person who wants to be with me too. Don’t get me wrong, my life isn’t always happy, 3 years on and I still get nightmares when I sleep, I still feel the needles entering my skin or the face of doctors surrounding me when I wake up. But the best part of those nightmares is waking up and finding Jae there next to me, he comforts me and tells me everything is going to be all right. Yes, we have our arguments but that’s because we both have fiery tempers from being so passive for half of our lives. But we are always there for each other, we love each other. If you’re wondering what Jaes like, he’s: funny, cheeky, mischievous, sincere and caring, and hot! Everything I could possibly want. We have lots of friends from Jae’s part time work and some from a collage I go to, some single and some young couples like us, not as young as us though. When people ask how we met, we just shrug and say it was by chance one day down by the pier. They seem to buy it so that’s ok.

As for Gabby and Rav, they are like our parents. Always checking up on us and giving us money when Jae’s expenses aren’t enough. We try and decline it but they force it upon us, they can be pretty scary sometimes.

So everything worked out for me and Jae after all.
