Prologue

"Jungkookie!" you squealed, looking around the room. Your room was a light pink, your sheets on your bed covered in princesses. A castle was painted on the wall, and dolls covered your floor. It was a perfect room for a seven year old girl. There was also a blanket fort from when you and Jungkook had made a pillow fort earlier. But now, Jungkook was no where to be found.

You heard a giggle come from your closet. "You'll never find me, Y/N!"

You giggled in return, running towards the closet. You could see the light in the closet shining from under the door. You knocked twice. "Jungkookie, come out! I found you!"

"You can't see me, so you didn't find me!" You could hear his teasing in his seven year old voice. You couldn't let him win this time.

You grabbed the door knob and jerked the door open. There Jungkook sat, his eyes shining as he sat on a pile of clothes. You opened your mouth to say something, but he grabbed your hand and pulled you towards you. You squealed as he started tickling you.

"I got you now!" Jungkook laughed as he tickled you. You laughed along, struggling against his grip. You knew he was too strong to get away from, but it was worth a try.

Only seconds later, Jungkook stopped tickling you. You had collapsed to the ground and laid there panting. You looked up at Jungkook, and he smiled down at you. You smiled back.

"We'll be friends forever, right, Y/N?" he asked you, his voice going serious.

You nodded, giving him a grin. "We will. And if we don't, I'll be sad."

He placed his small hand on your forehead and grinned back at you. "I love you, Y/N."

You weren't sure what that quite meant. You thought of it just in a friend way. "I love you, too," you said back. The thing you didn't know was that Jungkook meant it in a way that you could never imagine.
