Your POV

There was only one last question on the exam. I felt pretty confident with all my other answers on the last ones, but this last one was asking the theme of the text it had given me, along with the symbolism. I'd been studying this for awhile, but my brain wasn't wanting to work. It wasn't a multiple answer question, so I really had to think for this one.

Finally, my fingers scribbled in an answer that I was half sure of. It wouldn't matter that much if I did great on my other questions. If I felt like I didn't do good on other questions, then I would rethink my answer. My eyes reread the words, making sense of them. It seemed to be correct in a way. I decided to leave it as it was, and go on with my day.

I got up from my chair, heading over to the professor's desk. The man was looking down at his work. There was only two other people taking the test along with me. I was the first one to be done, so I felt awkward going up to the front. I could feel some eyes on me as I slid the test on the desk, the professor looking up at me. I gave a small nod.

"You're free to leave now," the guy said, slightly pointing to the door with his pen. It seemed like his voice was a gunshot being thrown into the room, even though it was a small whisper. "Have a good day, Mrs. Jeon."

I hurried out of the class, then broke out into the hall. People mingled around, talking quietly among themselves. I nudged at my bag that was held up from my shoulder, then hurried off, keeping my head low. I didn't feel like being noticed today, hating the idea of people to keep gossiping about my personal life. I already had two people at work ask me about the baby thing during the morning. It felt good to be free from those questions and to be back in school.

I turned the corner to where the door stood at the front of the building. As I did, my eyes focused on someone I was expecting to see: Jungkook. He stood there with a smile on his face. He wore a sweatshirt with jeans, Timberlands on his feet. His chocolate hair was a bit messy, but in a cute way. In his hand was a single, small rose. I could feel my heart stop for a second.

"Hey," he said, making his way towards me. It only took a few long strides for the both of us to meet. His arms wrapped around me, pulling me in for a hug. I instantly melted into him, glad to feel safe in someone's arms.

"The test went well, I think," I murmured, burying my face into his chest. I took in his scent, seeming to relax me. I was already forgetting about work and all the questions. "I'm hoping I get a good grade."

"You will," he said, one of his hands rubbing my back. I could feel it pull at the rose scab, but it wasn't too painful. I had already been seeing it start to heal in the mirror each morning, the outer rim turning to scarred tissue. If it hadn't been for the fact the experience was scary and harmful, I thought it was pretty cool.

I pulled out of his arms a bit, pulling his hand with the rose in between us. I took a look at it. It was so tiny, almost like it didn't bloom enough. The petals were a light pink, a pastel color. It seemed fragile yet beautiful at the same time. I was afraid it would break in Jungkook's hand. I was waiting for a petal to fall, but it was strong standing. It didn't seem real.

"I got this for you," he said quietly, also looking down at it with me. The smile was still on his face, a sparkle in his eyes. He looked so happy, so relaxed. Just by the looks of him, it made me forget about the world, focusing on the moment. "I thought it would be nice to put with the red ones. Almost like a little friend."

"I want one," I blurted out, looking up at Jungkook with a broad smile. My heart was pounding. It was like the world was nothing. Nothing bad was going to happen. "I want a child, Jungkook."

His eyes fixed on me, and I could see the complete bliss in his eyes. He looked like he just heard the best news in the world. Well, it must of been. It was life changing for the both of us. This would never leave us. "Really?"
