Reconnection

Driving towards where Lee wanted to meet us I saw Terrence in my review mirror looking absolutely miserable.

I kind of felt bad for him even though marrying Mira was a bad idea in the first.

We arrived at this warehouse and to be honest It looked so shady that I had second thoughts on walking in.

I saw Terrence walk towards with his hands in his pockets and his head hanging low not sure if he's ready to do a screen reading.

"Hey are you okay?" I asked in concerning voice.

"I'm fine Raji I just want to get through this and get some sleep" he said calmly.

We walked in together and saw Lee and Danny talking about where filming would be set up at.

"The queen has arrived!" He said walking over to me and giving me a hug.

"Lee hey it's been awhile since I seen you" I said smiling and returning his hug.

"Terrence how are you?" He asked smiling.

"I'm fine just tired as all" Terrence said shrugging his shoulders.

We walked over to where they were talking and met the rest of the cast.

I knew one familiar face which was Jussie Smollett.

He was all wide eyed and in shock meeting Terrence and I that his jaw hung opened.

"I don't know how many times I watched you guys on the BET awards" he said walking towards us.

"I saw your tape you have some vocals on you" I said poking his arm.

He grinned and we all took are seats at this long table.

"So I want to get down to the nitty gritty and start with the chemistry reading" Lee said putting his hands on the table.

All actors left to wait outside and it was just Terrence and I.

"Ok I'll give you a little background on the setting and you guys just have at it ok?"he said raising the paper he was holding.

"You two are sitting on the couch catching up on what's going since you've been in jail, Go!" He said excited.

"So what horse did you steal this off of" Terrence said touching my hair.

"Jamal got me wearing this stuff I don't know how these girls do it having their hair smell like goat ass" I said as I swatted his hand away.

He laughed the devilish laugh of his and just looked at me with his head tilted.

I looked over to see Lee looking head on and taking in everything. "You okay Lee it looks like you seen a ghost" I said laughing.

He stood up and just out of nowhere started dancing.

"You too have more chemistry then I don't what" he said clapping his hands.

The rest of the cast came back in and we went over little details and scanned over more lines.

"Ok I guess we should let you all know where the filming would be held" Danny said serious.

We got a deal in Chicago to do the filming for the show.

Everyone looked shocked because the setting of the story was based in New York.

We all agreed and said are goodbyes and parted ways.

I caught up to Terrence and asked if he had a place to stay he nodded his head and got into his car.

1 Hour Latter
Terrence P.O.V
I made it to a hotel and just fell onto my bed.

It was such a long day and finding out I had to leave for Chicago pretty soon was surprising.

I pulled out my phone and decided to text Taraji because I've been giving her the cold shoulder lately.

Terry🤗❤️: I wanted to apologize to you I didn't mean to push you away like I did today.
TJ😫❤️💍: Terrence it's ok your going through something no need to apologize❤️
Terry🤗❤️: You were always my one weakness Taraji
TJ😫❤️💍: Your tired go to sleep Terry
Terry🤗❤️: Your right goodnight, I love you❤️
TJ😫❤️💍: Goodnight Terrence

I mentally slapped my myself. "Really Terrence I love you" I said to myself getting up walking towards the bathroom.

I got in the shower and all I could see was her face.

I looked down and there it was standing full at attention.

I tried thinking other thoughts but still nothing worked I decided with option B and you know the rest.

I walked out the bathroom and saw a couple missed calls from Mira.

I gave her call and she picked up kind of late.

"Hey T-Terrence what's up babe" she said out of breath.

"Ughh.. are you ok and I called you because you called me" I said furrowing my eyebrows.

"Uhh.. Terrence can I c-call you back" she said moaning.

"Mira what the hell.. " I started to say before coming to terms what was happening.

I hung up the phone and decided to get my stuff together and leave the hotel room and make a little trip.
