XVIII. The New Servant

My name .....what's a common girl name ? Come on Maki think think!!! Grandma Ren repeated ,"
Young lady ?? Young Lady??!What is your name?"
I had to think of something . "Ummm Miss ... I'm Mai..." She walked up the snowy steps  and extended her hand . " Come along now Mai ,its very cold outside lets go inside the house .
As I cough up with her she had asked me more about me . I had to make stuff up to make the lie last a little bit longer .
We went in to the house and tried to find Kei but Grandma had already founded her already.
" Kei, my only granddaughter.... You look lovely today..."  I ran towards them in a hurry trying to disrupt them . " In a rush Mai ? My Dear ?" Grandmother said.  Kei looked at me and nodded to me . She new the stakes that was being played . I replied to her , " Oh yes Miss......."
  "Ren Mrs .Ren"  
" Yes, thank you Mrs. Ren . I forgot to get your coat and ask you for tea ." I was trying to buy into the servant role .  "Ah yes please see that you do that . Here is my robe given my grandson and I would like some herbal tea please ."
I moved in the kitchen where I saw dad cooking as usual on the stove .  I shoved him in to the back door .  "Dad !!Dad I have to tell you something !"
As I closed the door .
" What..what is it Maki ?" He replied. I looked around and whispered into his ear .
" She is what where how does she know ?" I tried calming him down . " Calm down dad she doesn't know yet . The last time I saw her she was with Kei.."
I told him the lie that I told Grandma . Kei came around the back .  " there you are dad I was looking for you your noodles are burning . Father said "Go with your sister and entertain your Grandmother !"
We went back in to the house to see that she was in the living room with Mom . " Well hello ladies .Grandma Ren said ." Umm Mai  is the tea almost done ?"
I was lost in her cold eyes . Kei nudged me ."oh yes it's done , sorry to keep you waiting ." I retreated back to the kitchen where dad was cooking up a storm . I open the the golden tea kettle and the steam was so hot I stepped back . I bumped into dad causing a chain reaction of him ruining the noodles and then him moving to the left witch made me  fall down to the ground head first . Instantly I was knocked out . I woke up in a bed... my bed . All comers of my head were in pain . I looked up and saw Kei but I didn't recognized her . She said to me , Maki are you all right dad brought you here ."
  I replied ," Um I'm fine but who is this Maki your talking about ?"  Kei came closer and checked my forehead . " No it's not a fever ." She whispered . Then she reached my  lips for a kiss . Going to kiss her I closed my eyes. She stoped . "Mommmmmmm!!!!!!!!!! There's something wrong !!!"
