III .The Change in the Woods

The forest was very much alive . Walking into it I heard a howling noise from the far north . I pulled out my sword and stared to look for the herb Konji. The sun was going down and I had trouble seeing different since they were all dying of the cold . A cold chill came suddenly when I saw  the lake . I knew it was there but my nerves were shot . I looked around the ground and just saw long dried grass . I thought to my self mother please hold on a bit longer .  Returning to the now fully darken forest I took a stick and lit it on fire . The blaze was strong but my will to find the flower was stronger.

Walking deeper in to the forest I could not see the dirt road that my father paved for me . Even worse my fire started to die . I pulled out my sword and started to walk . Suddenly grunting noises were coming closer to me . It was a wild boar . A filthy looking thing with big tusk . I rosed my sword and make a clean cut across its neck . Quickly cleaning my blade I ran off because I knew that other animals would find the carcass . Catching a breath I was in a area unknown . My fire nearly out I got some sticks and made a fire .

  I sat a for a minute to think and then started to look for the herb that would save my mother .  Trekking through the forest I found a shrine .  The shrine was damage ,I could not read the writing for it was chipped off. The presence was cold . I felt cold ..  there was a urge to touch it . I could not resist the rock . I touched it  and I felt the air freeze and a shock came through my body like thunder and fell to the ground . "Meki Meki where are you ?"! It was Kei she followed me . I blacked out . So I could not hear .She found the shrine  but expecting to see her brother . Instead she saw a young woman  laying on the ground .
