Amanda's POV:

My eyes fluttered open to my mom yelling.

"Amanda wake up it's time to go to your school to met your principal and get your schedule your going to Princeton High School!"

I groaned and rolled off the couch as my bed still hadn't came yet and I responded to my mom in a annoyed tone.

"Okay mom let me just hop in the shower and put some clothes on"!

"Okay sweetie just hurry up we have to be on time and I have to be at work okay!"

I slowly unglued myself from the comfy couch and went into my room that is still packed because I have still not to gotten my bed, I reached into the box that had all my clothes in it and I pulled out a navy blue striped shirt with a pair of white skinny jeans that had cuts in them.

I walked into the bathroom and started the shower, I collected my thoughts in the shower. "Who's gonna be polite?", "Am I gonna make any friends?". I stepped out the shower and dryed myself off and out on my clothes I picked out for myself, and threw my brown hair into a messy bun.

I walked downstairs and saw my mom waiting on me by the door, I could tell she had been rushing. I grabbed a banana from in the basket of fruit laying on the kitchen counter.

"Im ready mom" I said a little annoyed

"You wanna drive, you've just turned 16"?

"Sure I said" grabbing the keys from her hand

We put Princeton High School in the Google Maps on my phone.

We drove about 10 minutes from my house,we pulled up infront of the school and I stared at the school in awe as it was so big. We got out the car and walked in togather and went to the front office.
There was a lady sitting there with a yellow sunflower dress on and she had a french kind of accent. She greeted us with "You must be Amamda Grenada right?". "I'm Mrs.Hallondale , I'm the principals assistant he told me a new student would be arriving today," "Here's your new schedule,now just wait over in the waiting area and the principal will be with you shortly".
