"Today is finally the day I have yet to meet my lifetime happiness! We shall take off at evening when the sun is yet to dawn where the place is dimly lit, creating a romantic atmosphere."

You rolled your eyes and laughed, "okay, there are so many wrongs in two sentences."

"What?" He continued with the accent.

"Stop it. The accent is the biggest faulty."

"I nailed the accent," he said.

"No you did not. It sounded like a mockery to all of your great ancestors who's alive in that particular century." He laughed and you went on, "and also, it is 'I shall take off', not 'we' because you are going on a date and I am staying and waiting for my prince charming's arrival."

He snickered as he went into the closet to change into another outfit. All the work he has done to go on a first date, even getting laid requires less effort, he has totally went overboard with this.

"Well at least he doesn't lay off a phony and terrible accent," you bickered, still sitting on the edge of the bed and staring blatantly at the door of the small walk-in closet that your roommate disappeared into.

He walked out of the closet a few minutes later and is posing himself in front of the mirror which was horrible to look at. He was doing all these unnecessary poses and duck faces, you have to keep every nerves of yours to settle so he wouldn't get a hand print on his face before his big night.

"Yes, I know. Your prince does everything right," he stood in front of you and posed in a dramatic way. "And every shit I do, is shit."

"Correct! You got it right! You want a cookie?" You said it in a baby voice.

"All right, that's it. If you wanna get a partner in your life, stop that right now. Or so trust me, that phony accent of yours wouldn't be the reason why you'd be single forever."

"Oh, you are so cute when you're pissed," he cooed. You sent him another The Look and laughed. There was this weird feeling inside you seeing him all dressed up and ready for the date. It was like parents watching their kids grow up, and it's weird to think of him like this. But still he's your best friend and if that goddamn cute guy, which he wouldn't keep on exaggerating about, breaks his heart, you will no doubt bury him.

Your roommate's future boyfriend-and-possibly-husband came and pick him up around 7:30 and he was kind of cute, with that bright smile and dimples, but too bad he's not straight and your heart is too full of Harry to fit in another. You waved your goodbyes and your roommate kept shooting you his arched-and-wiggling eyebrows. You were kind of happy that he found someone to annoy for the rest of his life, and that someone, thank god, was not you. Harry arrived at 8:45 with a box of pizza in one hand and a stack of CDs.

"Aww, you brought me pizza? How sweet." You leaned on the door and beamed at him. You could see red spots on both of his cheeks – he was blushing. You let him in and helped him settle the pizza on your living room table. You went through the stack of movies he had brought along with him.

"Lion King?" You hold up a case with the Lion King poster printed on it and waved it in his face.

He rolled his eyes, and tried to snatch it from your hand but you were fast. "C'mon, it's a nice movie. Hakuna Matata. How can you not love it?"

"You serious? I have watched it so many times. It just surprises me that you do too."

"Everyone loves it, now give it back before you scratch it." He tried to reach for it again but once again, you were fast. He smiled and this mischievous glint was glowing in his eyes. His hands crept forward and he was hovering over you with you pinned to the floor. "Tickle fight!" he said, and his fingers were tickling your sides. You kept wriggling and squirming underneath him, trying to get out of his hold but he was way stronger than you. Tears were forming in your eyes as you laugh really loudly, trying to pry off his ticklish hands on your hips.
