Chapter #2:The Breakup

I just froze all of a sudden I couldn't believe my eyes because of what I saw
There was Andre on the field with his arms on the shoulders of the new girl Sandra.
So Carol wasn't lying. I walked up to where they were ignoring my friends protest to be calm.
Andre
he looked up at me surprised
"Hii..iii..iii Chloe", he stuttered
"what are you doing here".
"I should be asking you that,
is it the reason why you have been ignoring me for tha past two weeks. I can't believe this. I am so disappointed".
"I wanted to tell you Chloe. Sorry you had to see for yourself."
I run away crying.
Ari and Derby run towards me to hug me. We went together to the washroom. I can't believe Andre did that
I kept wiping my eyes
"I knew something was wrong when he became busy all of a sudden". I said
"Anyway we have class . Let's get going before I add dentention to my already big problem".
We went out into the hallway then into class we almost bumped into our music teacher,Mr Bentley.
"Take your time girls",he said
We ran to three empty seats at the back of the class
I really didn't hear anything throughout the whole two hour class. my mind was very far away. who can blame me after my BF just broke up with me.
After school ended I drove my friends and we want to the mall. they wanted me to have fun so i forget about Andre.
we shopped our hearts out.
When I got home I had almost forgotten about the break up and Becky asked me.
"Hi sis,how did it go with Andre"
"Breaking news we broke up. thought you would know by know since am now the topic of the moment at school."
"No darling,sorry"
I run into my room and jumped into my bed.

After a week I had forgotten about Andre's betrayal. I decided to do something profitable for the rest of the semester left for us to vacate.
Ari,Derby and I were passing by one of the notice boards
Suddenly,Derby screamed,
"Aaaaahh...Awesome a talent show. this is just what you need Chloe.
"Derby dear you know I don't sing in front of big crowds".
"Come on. it wont be that scary. What happened before won't happy again." "Believe me. you are now matured."
"I guess u're right. I'll give it a try"
"Yaaay", they both screamed with glee
I smiled
so for two weeks
I rehearsed the song I would be singing at the talent show.
The D-day was finally in.
I was so nervous. my parents were there to support me . so was Becky.
My turn reached and I did some warming up exercises to calm my nerves.
I began to sing. which surprised me. it came very naturally.
After the show my parents and friends hugged me to congratulate me.

The next morning in homeroom class. Our homeroom teacher entered the class with a guy following him.
"Class,this is a new student Toby Markins. He just transfered here today. Hope you make his stay here a wonderful one."
I was browsing on my phone so didn't get a better look at him.
I lifted my head and he was walking towards me. to my amazing surprise it was my childhood friend from Connecticut. He smiled at me. I smiled back.
