Bucky walked through the snow dusted grass and sighed as he reached his favorite spot. It was peaceful and he could just get away from the cabin for a while. Steve's constant, "Are you ok Bucky?" Was really getting to him... No, he wasn't ok. His best friend and the love of his life was gone.... Well she wasn't gone just missing.

He sat down overlooking the little towns and the cabin way down in the valley. His heart was heavy and tears leaked from his eyes. He had just gotten her back... had just started to help her with her memories.... Bucky knew exactly how she felt... He was the same before all the programming was taken out of his head.

A deer dashed through the undergrowth and Bucky looked up. The fawn gazed at him with her brown soul searching eyes. He was being judged... Was he safe or unsafe...?A good guy or a bad guy? Bucky wished he could answer that question himself. He believed he was good though. He believed that after all his past sins he was forgiven.

The deer stomped her hoof and dashed off

The deer stomped her hoof and dashed off. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I miss you Rose." He closed his eyes and imagined her right there with him.

(Flashback 1940)

"You have to stop him Bucky. Steve is not built for the war. You are as much as I hate to admit it..." She pursed her perfect red lipstick stained lips. "I need you Bucky. So please come back ok?" Bucky wrapped his arms around her and sighed.

"I promise with all my heart Rose I shall return to you." He kissed her lips and chuckled as he wondered how he was so blessed to have her in his life. "You are the light that shines even in the darkest times." Bucky whispered in her ear and smiled. "You're my heart, and I love you to the moon and back Rosie."

Rose smiled and took his hands into her own. "My love for you stretches across space and eternity. I love you Bucky Barnes." She closed her eyes and kissed him. "Whenever you are away or I am away just think of me and I will think of you."

Bucky remembered that day as if it was just yesterday

Bucky remembered that day as if it was just yesterday. Now he held onto her words like it was a lifeline. His lifeline to see her once again. To look into her ice blue eyes and see that heartwarming smile. "Rosie..." He whispered and then wiped a tear that had fallen from his face.

It wasn't the same without her. A branch crunching made him whip his head around. Steve stepped out hands up. "Buck? I hate to say it but we need to get moving...Natasha called a few minutes ago apparently someone called in our location." Bucky got up quickly and nodded, "Lets get going then. We can't waist anymore time sitting here."

They quickly made there way off the mountain and down to the cabin. Most likely it was the night they had headed into town to get supplies. Someone must have seen them and called it in. "I'll get the bags ready." He headed inside and grabbed the backpacks under the floorboards and tossed Steve's over to him and his own he tossed onto his back. "Did Natasha mention anything else?"

Steve sighed, "No, it was a rather quick conversation. She told me to get moving that our location was no longer secured." He looked to Bucky, "I'm sorry Buck."

The sound of a helicopter made him freeze before looking to his friend and running like the world was coming to an end. They ran up the mountain and kept going not stopping.

The helicopter dropped armored soldiers down at the cabin. They held automatic rifles and wore visors to protect their faces.

"Lets go!" They shouted orders one after the other. The door was blasted open and smoke filled the air. "Area is clear."

One soldier took off his visor and shook his head. "They are gone."

Ross stepped off the jet that had landed. "Someone must have told them then." He looked at the cabin and then nodded, "After you have searched every little speck of this place, and have left no floorboard unturned. Burn it down." He pulled out a cigar lighting it and watching his soldiers tear the cabin apart.

(On top of the mountain)

Bucky looked down to the valley below as soldiers tore the place apart. "I bet Ross is down there." He looked to Steve and continued the journey up the mountain and away from the Scotland countryside.

Steve looked to Bucky, "If he is then we have to get out of here even faster Bucky." He turned and listened making sure they weren't being followed. "Come on they haven't figured out where we went yet."

Bucky looked over to Steve, "Hopefully they won't anytime soon." He picked up the pace though making sure that if they were behind then then Steve and Bucky were many steps ahead.

They continued to travel even when the sun went down and the only source of light was the moon. They went across rivers and streams. Bucky knew how to disappear and that's what they were doing once again... They were disappearing.

Ross watched as the cabin burned and nodded to the soldiers. "Continue to monitor all broadcasts and phone calls... They showed up once they will show up again." He headed back onto the jet and saw his head of security at the raft was calling. "I'm busy Lang this better be good."

"Sir I thought you would like to know Stark was here. He spoke to Arctic and she did talk back." He cleared his throat. "We recorded what was said it wasn't much, but Starks the only one who has gotten Arctic to speak..."

Ross sat down and waved the flight attendant away after she filled his glass. "So your saying we should use Stark to get Arctic to speak?" He pursed his lips and then sipped his drink. "Call Stark in."

Lang sighed, "Already tried sir. He said he was to busy at the moment and that to call next week..." He ran a hand through his hair. "His wedding is coming up." As if that would justify for Starks actions.

Ross laughed, "Right and because Stark has finally decided to put away his alter ego the governments plans change." He smirked, "Call him again Lang. This time tell him he comes in or else." He hung up and then looked out the window. "The world calls for order and order shall be delivered."
