(Bucharest Romania Next Morning)
The sun streamed through the newspaper covered windows. A light glow rested on the sleeping figure.
It was Rose... Her blonde hair somewhat in her face. Her eyes were closed as her body took in the much needed sleep. A journal had been set on the table. Its pages already becoming filled with the memories that were coming back to its owner.
On the other side of the room Bucky sat writing and doodling in his own journal. He couldn't sleep... Well he had slept for a very short time, but the stress was just too much. Last night before they had gone to bed... Rose had finally snapped. She told Bucky she was leaving... Of course it didn't happen... It was just words.
(Last Night's Memory)
Bucky followed Rose back to the apartment. They had just gotten back from the market and something was bothering Rose he could tell. "Rose tell me what's wrong? I can help I promise.... I have been through the same thing and I know how it feels."
He really wanted to help her. Bucky could that Rose was struggling with the load of information coming at her day by day.
Rose turned and shook her head. Her eyes cast down to the ground. "Bucky you don't get it." She clenched her fists. "I can't remember anything about you, other then I knew you somehow. You have showed me so much kindness but... I can't stay."
Bucky froze and he shook his head. "Rose...Rose you don't have to go." He reached out to take her head but she withdrew and sighed.
"Bucky, I am not the same girl you fell in love with..." She walked over to the table and sat down. I have seen and done so much." She held her hand up seeing him about to speak. "Let me finish. I know you have too, and I... I want to stay. You have no idea how much I want to."
She was cut off by him taking her hands. "Rose, I need you more then you need me. You are my light and my sun... I just got you back."
Rose wiped at her eyes as a tear fell. "Bucky..." She gently touched his face. "I am a mess.. A hollow shell of what I used to be." Her hands shook and she gently laid them on the table. "I will stay, but I need time. This is too much too fast."
Bucky knew he should have given her more time. "I'm sorry Rose." He sighed and went over sitting down on the mattress he had on the ground. He looked at the ground not raising his head. Rose had started writing in her journal... He heard the soft sound of the pencil against the pages...
The day turned to night and the only time Bucky looked up was when Rose had laid down on the couch. He got up and walked over gently laying the only blanket down over her. "Night Rosie."
