I am nervous, but joyful at the same time. I can hear the magnificent classical music downstairs. I locked my doors and changed to my detailed light blue dress, and my matching, glistening high heels. I am getting interviewed for a private school called, "School for Over Achieved Students".
When I was finished getting ready, I unlocked my door. And slowly paced down the glass steps of the mansion. I saw the owner of the private school, and my mother, waiting for me on the polished floor downstairs.
As I reached downstairs, I greeted the owner of the school with a grin, and a handshake.
"Good Evening, Kelsey Overscott, we are pleased to have you apply for our school" He said grabbing my hand. He kissed my hand and I said, "Your belt isn't matching your pants, or your shoes, don't try to impress me".
With a stunned look on his face, he asked me a question. "Please Ms. Overscott, tell me why you are applying for our school".
I replied by saying, "I am applying for this school because I am over achieved, and I don't belong with beginners like students at a public school".
I am a stubborn girl, even though it might not look like it. I always strives to get anything I want, I'm so good at it, I was suggested to be a lawyer, or a businessman. One day, I confronted my mom saying, "Mother I did all your chores for the past 8 months, I managed to keep my sanity, and I done all your taxes. I expect for you to buy me 25, Blue Nile 24 karat diamond rings".
My mother said that she didn't want to spend her money like that, but since I knew that she was apart of one of the most richest families, I said," I will wait for it by Monday morning 10:45 sharp. Thanks for your time, Mother".
Back to the interview, the owner of the school asked a couple of easy questions.
How smart are you??
My GPA is the highest in this country.
What were your grades like in 8th grade?
All A's.
Have you skipped any grades?
No, I don't like, or want to skip any grades.
And then, the big question.
What does this school mean to you?
I slightly positioned my head down
It means nothing to me. I have no interest in this school. I want to learn, and all schools do that. I don't have to enter your school, but I choose to.
With a puzzled look on his face, he came with his results.
"Sorry ma'am, but your child is to Over Achieved for our school." He said bowing down.
I said that it makes no sense that I am too over achieved for a school called, "School for Over Achieved Students". The owner of the school left, and I said to myself, I'm going to have to go to a school that accepts anyone".
