Restless

Chapter 3

With a light knock on the door she knew she would be facing him soon; putting all personal feelings aside and keeping it about her job. "Come in!" A voice said from behind the door, but not just any voice, it was his voice. With a small smile on her face she turned the knob, walked into the room with those sweet chocolate eyes on her the whole time, and she shut the door. She sat in the chair that was at the head of the large oak table.

She looked at the four men, all familiar, as she began to spoke. "To start things off, I'm Zara Logan. I understand you want suits to be designed and made ready to wear for the upcoming Grammy's. Did you have any ideas for these suits?" Phil looked at Bruno, Bruno nodded while Ryan took out the note pad that had notes on it, and Phred looked at Bruno nodding. Bruno cleared his throat and Ryan handed him the notepad. Bruno smiled his famous smile, his dimples showing and she couldn't help but smile back. "We were thinking gold. We wanna shine like gold, lookin' like an actual Grammy award." She nodded and began to take notes before begining to draw the suits lightly on the pad .

She looked up and showed them the pad. Bruno grinned, Phil was smiling ear to ear along with Phred, and Ryan put his thumbs up. Bruno looked at the pad Zara had drawn the outline on before speaking. "That's exactly what we were thinking. You nailed it!" Zara felt herself blush and said thank you. The only thing left to do for the meeting now was a quick run by approval of what was to be done and to tell them to send everyone that will be wearing a suit to come in.tomorrow for measurements.

Zara stood up from her chair and held the pad a little high for their guarenteed approval. "Okay, so shimmery gold suit blazers with  black trim and black pants with a small amount of gold trim on the sides, correct?" All of them nodded in approval. She smiled again before she spoke, surprised at how well the meeting went. "Alright everyone who will be wearing a suit needs to report to the measurement department on the third level of this building tomorrow at three 'o clock.  I will be there to help assist any of you along with the measurement team and to help answer or reassure any questions or concerns." They all nodded and got up from their chairs, pushing them in as Zara opened the door. Phil came up to her first, and he smiled. "Thanks Z. Yo smeeze appreciates you." Phred followed behind, leaving with a small wave. Ryan was half way out the door before coming back, "Bruno are you coming?" Bruno still stood next to Zara and grinned a little, "Yeah man, I'll be there in a minute." Ryan nodded and he left. Zara was half an inch near the door when Bruno stopped her by stepping in front of her, his eyes pleading. "Zara, please stay for a minute. I want to talk to you."
