Master Yi rushes through the forests of Ionia, he has no idea how he is going to find Yasuo but still he presses on. He dodges tall thick trees and bushes as he traces his eyes around the area. He comes to a stop as he hears a twig snap from behind him, he grasps his sword tighter. 'Perhaps I should have let Wukong know about what I'm doing... just in case something-' a small hare hops out of the bushes from behind him, '...happens to me'. He loosens his tight grip on his blade and shakes his head, grinning at himself for being frightened by a little hare. He continues to run south of Ionia, he has a long way to go but he is fast.
The sky darkens, the light fades and the stars fill up the sky. 'No, it was a good thing I didn't tell Wukong. This is far too dangerous... trying to find truth of someone who is known as a murderer...' Yi wonders as he slows down, from a sprint to a walk. He spots a open part of the forest, a small area where there is no trees but a grassy field. A large boulder sits in the middle of the area surrounded by other rocks. Yi stretches his legs before approaching the area, he had been running for a few hours with only little breaks. 'Wouldn't hurt to rest my legs' he thinks as he pushes himself to get on top of the large boulder, he places himself in the middle and crosses his legs. Yi steadies his breathing as he lets go of his blade, it levitates, bobbing up and down slowly next to Yi but not too close to him. 'The Ionian forest is quite beautiful at night' Yi wonders, the moonlight seeps through the tall trees and highlights the grass, plants and small critters. There is the sound of crickets but it is not dominate as it is mixed with leaves rustling and water flowing gently. Yi appreciates the moment, he feels completely at ease, not even fearful that maybe within the areas that have no light reaching it something - or someone - may lurk.
Yi breathes, deep in his meditation opens his eyes as he hears a loud rustle of a bush behind him. He sits still, trying to keep the same position to present to what is behind him that he didn't hear them. Faint footsteps grow closer to Yi, he continues to remain still.
"It is rude to interrupt those who are meditating" Yi announces with no sense of fear in his voice. The footsteps stop and he hears a small hum but he still doesn't turn around.
"However, it seems perfectly fine to track someone down to kill them" a deep voice spits harshly. Yi guesses he is around seven to nine meters away from him, a space that a skilled warrior could break with ease.
