Master Yi readjusts himself on the stool, returning back to a slouch with one arm resting lazily on the table and the other tapping away. He stares at his drink, focusing rather on the marks engraved onto the smooth wooden cup, a mark resembling the Ionian symbol, then the strong liquid contained inside. Yi's eyelids begin to close, he blinks multiple times over to fight the tiredness. He begins to wonder about the long day of training with his pupil; Wukong, bright but a mischievous one. Yi found himself stumbling into Wukong's pranks ever so often. This time being a dark slightly large spider hidden in his boot, Yi being relieved as he doesn't fear spiders but also that it wasn't anything else such as the time Wukong shoved crap in there. Aside from the 'jokes' the training was successful, Wukong's strikes were sharper and precise this time. His thoughts are cut off as a fist slams down on a table nearby causing it to shake viciously. Yi tilts his head slightly towards the way of the large thud, a woman with messy brown hair and raggedy torn clothes has her eyebrows drawn. She stands at a table with nine others, they sit and look up at her with their eyes open. 'They look at her as if she speaks words of wisdom...' Yi thinks, raising an eyebrow although it cannot be seen due to his goggles.
"You know what I've just heard from another bar south of Ionia? Ha! You wouldn't believe me" the woman announces to the table of nine, "A murderer had been in that inn and you know what happened?". The woman's eyes furiously look over the nine, she clenches her teeth, "The inn was left in ruins! Floor broken as well as tables and even a few men dead. Those men were guards! The murderer was spotted with a young Shuriman girl! She helped him fight those guards, what is he doing? Teaching the young to become rebels?!" She roars, spitting as she yells. A loud ramble spread across from the table of nine to the whole inn. 'Murderer... with a young Shuriman... Teaching..." Yi focuses back on his drink as he tries to put together the rumour he just heard. The woman raises her hands and gestures everyone to quiet down.
"You all know of this murderer!" She raises her voice even louder, the others in the inn stand up yelling in agreement.
"Yasuo is his name!" She addresses the name in a harsh tone as if it's poison, the others in the inn begin to yell in anger. Yi lowers his head, his fingers tapping on the wooden bench stop. 'Yasuo... Yasuo... I haven't heard that name in a long time, I don't quite remember what he was exiled for' Yi taps away again on the table. 'I believe it was the act of killing an elder he was supposed to protect? Yes.. yes I remember now. However, helping a young Shuriman, teaching her? This sounds like no act of rebellion... This doesn't sound like something someone titled murderer would do' Yi clutches the cup and drinks the remaining liquid. He hastily puts the cup down and lifts himself off the stool, grabbing his blade as he turns to leave the loud inn. He moves past the others yelling, he almost bites his bottom lip as he loses himself in thought of what seems to be a never ending bombardment of questions.
'I need answers'.
