Wendy

The broom hit the floor as I swept, a sigh escaping from my lips. 'It's so great Spending my summer doing chores all over a damn Ouija Board..haha ... not!.'

"Trust me kid, I feel your pain," I paused looking around to see who said that but saw no one.
I suddenly heard fingers snapping, making me flinch. "Yo dude, over here!" I turned my head around to see a red head with freckles at the cashier. she looked to be in her twenties.

"Whoa! didn't mean to scare ya! Sorry about that," She Appogized. "It's alright," I said and looked around again making sure Stan nor Ford were watching nontheless listening. I then looked back at the red head.

I raised a brow. "Do you work here?" I asked. "Yep, I use to work here during the summer when I was a teen, even before Dipper And Mabel came along. I assume you know them?" I nodded "Oh okay and Yeah, I do." I said. She just smiled noded and propped her feet up on the counter.

Wendy opened up a magazine for a second  and then lowered it down for a moment to look back at me. "Hey, wanna see something cool?" She asked grinning and taking her feet down, placing the magazine on the counter afterwards. She got up and started walking over to a ladder.

I sweat dropped and swallowed a bit. "I uh...I don't know..I don't want to get in trouble...I'm not actually supposed to be talking to you," I told her fiddling with my fingers nervously, my eyebrows knitted together.

She raised an eyebrow confused. "Whoa what? How come?" I looked around to make sure nobody was around listening or watching and looked back at her. "Will you promise to keep a secret?" I whispered a bit just to be safe. She smirked and made a zip motion go along her lips an pretended like she threw the key away. "Your Secrets are safe with me my dude,"

I nodded as we both started climbing up. "I use to go up here alot, still do," I looked around observing the roof. "Don't worry, the coast is clear," I then looked back up at her and gave a small smile. "By the way, I'm Wendy, what about you?" she introduced herself. "(y/n)," I said. "I like that name, you seem cool, " I smiled a bit more and she returned it back. "You seem cool yourself,"

"Yeah, I get that a lot, " she chuckled and I giggled back.

Laughter filled the afternoon air as Wendy and I were telling jokes and telling a lot about ourselves. she had told me about all the crazy but fun adventures that her, Dipper and Mabel had the first time they came to Gravity Falls, it almost made me wish that I was there too, Gravity Falls seemed very interesting to me now.

There was silence until Wendy broke it. "Oh!" She blurted. "So...about why you can't talk to other people," I blinked almost forgetting. "Oh yeah! The reason is because well, I'm going to start off saying this, I have a YouTube channel with my friends," I gulped nervously hoping she wouldn't dislike me after getting to the point. "Oh, really? That's awesome! are you guys famous?"

I nodded "and yeah sorta," I rubbed the back of my neck and then continued. "anyway um my two friends and I-we uh...um.." I was really nervous now that sweat poured down my face, my hands started trembling and my heart pounded in my chest and took a deep breath. "MytwofriendsandIplayedwithanOuijaBoard," I said really fast and slapped my hand on my mouth.

"Whoa! what!? Did You say you played with an Ouija Board!?" her eyes grew wide. "Y-Yeah..." I put my hands down and sighed as I sat down grabbing a piece my hair and chewing on it. "Does that taste good?" She gave me a smug look.

I looked at the piece of hair and stopped chewing, looked up at her and then spit it out. "Ya know, that Ouija Board does sound kinda interesting despite it's evil tacts," My eyes grew wide and stood up, I then pulled up my sweat pants up to my thigh exposing the scar. She looked at it, "Yo! What is that from?" I pulled it down with a frown.

"A demon possessed me and made me do this," I explained "Are you serious?" She asked and I nodded. Just then I heard my name being called to finish up my chores. "Well, this sucks..." I said and sighed. "Yeah, I agree," as I was about to go down, she held up her fist, I just stood there. "Don't leave me hanging." I smiled and then fist pumped her.

"Oh and hey, show me that board some time? if ya still have it, I do know it follows you," I wasn't so sure about that, I don't know if a was ever going to touch it again. I shrugged what the hell might as well since it's stuck to me like glue "Sure!" I said. "Cool." A car honked it's horn. "Later dude!" She yelled going down a tree and ran towards the van.

"Let's go get drunk guys!" I heard Wendy say followed by cheers from her friends as she got in and the van drove off. I smiled and went down to go finish up work, I feel like Wendy and I are gonna be great friends.
