Chapter 24

Evan's POV

"Come on Mini! Just jump, I'll catch you." I told him spreading my arms for him. "It's to far! I won't make it!" Mini said scared not wanting to jump. "Craig...you are FUCKING 12 INCHES AWAY FROM ME!!! YOU ARE STANDING ON A ROCK THAT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF A SMALL POND 12 INCHES AWAY FROM LAND!!!" I yelled at him irritated and impatient.

Mini takes a deep breath and jumps towards me with my arms "catching" him. "See that wasn't so bad. Now let's go! It's almost dinner time." I tell him as we walked back inside the mansion.

We walk in the dining room where there were multiple tables and chairs. It was almost filled with kids and teens waiting for their food. Me and Craig sat down next to each other starting to explain our plan.

"So we will sneak out of here in the night and the bear will be waiting for us in the woods. He will let you mount him while I run next to to you guys. Then I will kill one of the guards there to get a gun and start shooting anyone that gets in my way. You will get in the security system room, unlocking every single door to let everyone out. The bear will be by your side protecting you since you are a scaredy cat." I explained, but he just punched my arm. "Hey!! I'm not a scaredy cat!" He yelled loudly which caught everyone's attention to us. "Quiet down Mini." I whispered to him.

I kept explaining him the plan until he could finally understand it. "Now do you understand?" I asked him raising an eyebrow. "I think I do." He said which made me get all serious.

Some butlers served us the food. It was mushroom stew with a chicken leg on another plate.

'CANNIBALISM!!!'

Shup up Vanoss!! I'm not gonna eat the chicken leg. I'm just gonna eat the mushroom stew.

I tell him, trying to calm Vanoss down. Now that I think about. Vanoss could be a nice nickname for this owl hybrid form if people ask me who I am. Yea Vanoss and Miniladd in action.

I finish eating the mushroom stew while Craig ate every including my chicken leg that I gave him. Then the butlers brought dessert which was brownies. We both ate out brownies enjoying the chocolate flavor. "So good." Mini said savoring the taste in his mouth while I just nod in agreement.

Once everyone finished including us, we helped workers here clean by cleaning the table and the hardwood floor. I finished the table right on time before someone pour a bucket of cold dirty water all over me which made me growl a bit and glare at the person who did it.

It was Jack Silvan one of the emo kids here that thinks he could make us feel worse even though he is still under the treatment of the doctors here because he was badly injured and has insomnia for what happened to him. A lady kidnapped from the age of 13 to 16. Right now he is 18.

"Oops sorry, you were in the way." He snickering a bit and left me alone all wet and dirty which made me groan. Mini came up to me with a towel and wrapped it around me. "Evan..."

"What?"

"Your eyes...their golden yellowish just like your owl eyes." He said which made me immediately get out of the dining room. I ran inside my room and look at the mirror seeing my eyes glow golden but not yellowish just how Craig described it. I take out some sunglasses and put them on seeing that my eyes aren't visible anymore.

Craig ran inside to check up on me. "You alright?" He asked me worriedly. I just nod my head yes at him adjusting the glasses. "That fucking emo piece of shit...he thinks he could torment us just how that woman tormented him. I'm tired of his shit." I said with an angry tone. "Relax for now, I'll be in my room if you need me." He said then left leaving me here alone still wearing the towel around my wet body.

I lock my bedroom door and lay down on my bed before taking a warm shower. I'm laying in bed naked because it's comfy and I feel lazy to dress up. I heard the window open a bit but I thought it was the wind blowing it open.

Then I felt a hand sliding my down which made me immediately jump but I get push back down on my back seeing a familiar face and blindfold. "O-Ohm?!" I said smiling wide and hugging him tightly. "H-How?! You're okay but how you escaped?!" I asked him while we hugged tightly. "The guys helped me get out of the ambulance even if we were injured." He told me as we kept hugging each other.

"Now I need to save Bryce, CaRtOoNz, and Delirious...oh an also my friend's lover, Wildcat." I said happily as we pulled away. "You said Wildcat?" He asked me. "Yea, Wildcat. Is something wrong?" I asked him looking up at him confused. "No it's nothing wrongs, we just haven't seen him for a long while. Now let's put that aside and tell me what's how you doing so far." He said smiling down at me.

"Well they put me here in this mansion filled with other kids that had been through a lot like me. I made a friend and his name is Craig, but I call him Mini or Miniladd. I found out I was peculiar child just like you guys. I'm able to communicate with every animal and I'm an owl hybrid that's strong and has sharp talons as hands." I told him smiling.

I start change in my owl form showing him my owl head and my sharp talons. "Wow that's so cool!" He said petting my head slowly which made me hoo softly.

We lay on the bed all cuddle up telling him how much I missed them. I don't even care that I'm naked around him like if I got used to them seeing me naked. I turn around my back pressed against his chest and with his arms wrapped around me. I was still in my owl form all so my feathery head rested on his chest.

"You need rest for tomorrow. Tomorrow will be a long tiring day." He whispered to my ear soothingly as I slowly fell asleep hearing a voice in my head that also was soothing but was way more better than Ohm's.
