15 YEARS LATER

Camille knew the world was filled with turmoil at the time, but it didn't affect her, so she didn't mind. She went out of her cave, took a fruit from the tree, and moved on. "Where are youuuu," she called out. "Oh brotherrrrrrr! Come out for meeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
"I'm right hereeeeeeeeee!" snapped a voice from behind a pillar. A boy stepped out from behind the pillar. He was about 5 feet tall, and was a bit younger than 12. When he ran towards Camille, he took out a long scimitar with a pure blue translucent handle, as if it was made of gemstone. She then grabbed a machete lying on the ground, and threw it at him. He dodged to the side, and charged her with his weapon. Camille did a barrel roll behind a pillar and grabbed a khopesh off the rack on the side. She immediately ran towards the boy, holding the blade as if to impale him.
"STOP!" yelled a voice from inside the cave marked "Caretakers" by a wooden sign on the side. A man walked out of the cave, and took the weapons out of their hands. "You know it's too early to practice, you two need more sleep," he said. "Everyone else waits till dawn to fight, but you two have some sibling rivalry going on, and that's not how we do things."
  "O-k," they said simultaneously.
"Now Benedict, go make breakfast, and Camille, please help me clean up."
"O-k," they said again. Camille began to put the weapons back on the racks, when a crowd of people came out of separate caves. The red haired girl came first. About 14, with short hair, wearing battle armor over a T-Shirt and jeans. Then was a blond boy, who was about 10, wearing an old patched shirt and pants. Another blond boy came out, but his hair was long, and he was around Camille's age. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and handsown shirt and jeans. On his arm, was a leather glove, and on that glove was a hawk. Lastly, a brunette girl about 18 came out, wearing jeans and a tank top. She had long brown hair and a red headband.
"Good morning!" said the man, clearly surprised.
"Good morning Jonathan," they all said tiredly.
  "Good morning!" said Camille.
"Done!" yelled Benedict, coming out of the kitchen cave. He was holding two platters of fruit and burnt bread. "Don't worry, I have more for the Caretakers!" he exclaimed to Jonathan. He put down the platters on stone tables, and they all sat down on stone stools. They each took some fruit and a piece of bread, then began to eat. The other blond boy fed the bread to his hawk, clearly wishing for meat. A grinding sound came from a tunnel in the cave. Light flooded in as a boulder at the end of the hallway was rolled aside, and in came three women and two men. They each had bows slung across their backs, along with quivers, and they were carrying dead meat. They went into the kitchen, put the meat down, and came out.
"The Caretakers are back!" said the youngest boy, as the only one excited. The Caretakers took fruit and bread, just like the others, and sat down to eat.
"We have another one," said one of the female Caretakers. "Who wants to help ferry?" Three people raised their hands. "So Tyler, Camille, and Ella. No one else?" No one raised their hands. "Ok. Tyler," she said as she pointed towards the boy with the hawk, "go grab your spear."
  "Yes ma'am!"
"Camille, go get your khopesh," she said as she pointed at Camille.
  "Yes ma'am," Camille said.
"Now Ella," she said as she pointed at the brunette, "get your bow and quiver, we need to be able to defend ourselves incase the Empire attacks us. We aren't Empire soliders, so we are seen as enemies."
"Yes Josephine." They all headed into their caves, and came back with weapons. Then, the left the cave, and ran into the distance.
