Nearing the bodyguard cars with quick steps, I gasped softly, noticing one of the cars was empty, while the other had a driver I didn't know.

The moment he spotted me, he turned to someone behind him, as though to notify I was here.

The back door opened at that, and a large, muscular silhouette emerged from behind it.

I directly recognized him, and another gasp escaped me.

His fully tattoo-ed neck was unmistakable.

"H-Harold!!" I exclaimed, "The Beta have cars like the Alpha!!" I gazed in awe.

He eyed me with a pissed off expression, and frowned, as his dark black orbs scanned me from head to toe. "You're fine here, and Romeo is probably breaking down the bar in search for you!" He growled, and raised a walky-talkie before his mouth, "Romeo, it's Harold. Do you hear me? Harold code triple 'X', seven thousand and sixteen. The woman is here, you hear me? She's here. Come back, now!!"

The walky-talkie buzzed, and after some seconds, Romeo's voice echoed: "Got it. We'll come back right away. Take Miss Charlotte and her sister back to the estate according to the young Master's orders!"

I shuddered, and eyed him quizzically, feeling Abel's gaze over me but not daring to turn towards him.

From beside me, I felt Scarlett let out a tired, long breath, as she eyed her leg.

She's hurt, she needs to rest.

And they know she's with me.

"I-I'll help you to the car," I moved to hold her, but Harold was faster, as he supported my sister.

"I will, you get yourself and that will be more than enough." He glared at me.

Hey, why do I get the feeling this dude just doesn't like me?

I huffed, and turned towards Abel, as I stood directly before him and raised my hands up to either his cheeks, cupping his hard, manly jaw.

Guilt invaded me as I noticed he looked tired as well, and still dead worried.

"Y-You're not hurt, right?" I whispered, eying him with equal word.

He fixed me with deep, weird orbs which held a mixture of unfathomable emotions.

It was not as neutral as ever.

He, for a second, looked worried, and helpless and... defeated?

Defeated? By who? How?

He moved his jaw, "I'm not, I'm not." He shook his head, sighing, as his hands shot up to my shoulders, grabbing them roughly for a second, as though he wished to push me away and pull me closer at once.

"You're going... to him?"

I gasped, my eyes slightly widening at his question, as he fixed me with his straight off.

I parted my lips, and they shook, searching for an answer.

G-Goodness, why did answering him suddenly feel so hard?

What's wrong with me??

I averted my gaze from his, and, chewing my cheek, nodded. "Mhm."

We kept in our position for some seconds, and his intensive gaze kept on burning holes through me.

I got he was waiting for me to continue.
