Boss POV

I heard that Chiko was trying to lay low because he found out that slim knew the whole truth about his mom, so it was my job to look out for the oops while we were driving to Chiko house. He lives in the old neighbor hood Slim use to live, I guess all the boys on this block shot out all the street lights so the oops couldn't see nothing. We pulled up to an rundown house, the vehicles looked better than the house did. Slim snapped me out of my thoughts asking was I ready I nod my head, truth is I was more than ready than he was. Slim didn't even knocked once he got to the door he kicked it in, there was a female counting money and 3 kids at the table eating cereal. I was thinking the momma didn't even care about the kids if they were up this late eating cereal. First, thing I grabbed was the money that the female was trying to stuff in her bra. "WHERE CHIKO AT AND YOU BET NOT LIE", I asked still getting the money. she started crying.

"He's in the basement". "Snitch", I hissed under my breath. As I heard two gun shots I guess Slim must've shot her I'm glad because she knew too much already. Chiko was climbing out the window when I opened the door. "Where you going lil Chance" I asked laughing. "YO SLIM GO AROUND BACK HE RUNNING AWAY". I went back down stairs to see the kids crying their eyes out I tried to calm them down and then I head like 5 gun shots and dogs barking.

Steven POV

I shot Chiko baby mama I didn't want to do it but she was talking too much and she knew to much I didn't want any witness bad enough the kids were here. I heard slim yelling, "YO SLIM GO AROUND BACK HE RUNNING AWAY". I ran out the door heading towards Chiko, I was a fast runner so Chiko was no competition. He fell over something and couldn't get up. "You laughed in my face when I got out of jail, you lied to me, you snitched on me and stole from me I guess it's ova with Mr. Chiko bye bye I hope you burn in hell". I said while firing 5 shots in his head.

POW! POW! POW!

The sound of the gun made my ears ring I seen people running out their houses and sirens I ran to my car Boss was already in their and had the car started and ready to go. I looked back and noticed the 3 kids in the back seat. I looked at boss, "why they in here"?

"I'm sorry slim but I couldn't leave them kids back their alone, I'm gonna take em to my house and keep them and if the police will never know that the kids were their I'll say the kids were my sisters kids and she got killed so I'm keeping them." he said in a low tone. I nod my head and said, "aite".

Breauna POV

I was so bored and slim left me alone not telling me where he was going I couldn't leave the house for nothing. So I went in the kitchen to get some ice cream then watch the 10:00 clock news. while I was sitting their watching it they was interrupted by some incoming news a man named Chance Taylor has been shot AKA Chiko. My mouth dropped at the news, Slim came into the house look at the tv and turn it off I got tired of him turning my televisions off like he pay the bills here. "Why you cutting my stuff off like you leave here"? I asked walking up to him.

He laughed, "For now on I have to stay here to protect you, because your crazy ex is dangerous and I don't want him coming here hurting you so now get use to me turning your tv off." I was okay with that but except for the fact I'm going to be living with someone that just killed somebody.

"Okay, you can stay here but you sleeping down here on the couch"? I said going upstairs. He followed me, "Why can't I sleep up in here in one of these bed or with you"?

"You are not sleeping with me and sleep in the room down the hall and I'm locking the door so you want try anything." I didn't want to say why I really want him staying upstairs with me because I was afraid to say so I just left it alone. He stand at my door looking like a sad puppy I laughed, slam my door. "Goodnight" I yelled back him. I heard his door close and him stomping across the floor I laid back and went to sleep.

Steven POV

I was glad that she didn't ask me did I kill Chiko because I wasn't in a mood to argue with her I was tired. As soon as I got in the bed my phone buzzed it was an text from Cherry saying,

Text convo

Cherry: "Yo punk I want my ride at my house tomorrow morning 7:00 am sharp".

Me: "lbs, you really don't even need yo car."

Cherry: "I am serious bruh, how imma get from school cus you know yo girl can leave school early".

Me: "haha cause she smart, so she can do that but I'll pick you up from school".

Cherry: "Aite be on time". nite nite

Me: I will, nite.

End of convo

I was just about to turn my phone off when boss text me saying, "come to my house tomorrow morning I have to tell you something very serious". I read the text and cut it off and went too sleep.

##The next day##

Breauna POV

I woke up early too cook slim and I breakfast before heading to kitchen I peeped into his room he was snoring loudly with his mouth wide open, I closed the door heading down stairs. I began to start cooking rice, bacon and some toast, I turn around to see slim at the table with his fork in his hand with a big Kool-Aid smile on his face. I laughed and walked out the kitchen to get dress.

"Aye if you wasn't gone eat with me at least you could've fix my plate." he said with a attitude.

I laughed, "you a big boy you know how to fix your own food I'm sure."

When I was done getting dress I headed down stairs to find slim wiping up orange juice of the floor. "Boy what did you do". he looked up and smile like a little kid.

"I told you I wasn't a big boy." he said looking down at the mess he made.

I mushed him up side the head saying, "Boy stop actin like a little kid that's 2.00 of orange juice on that floor." I said backing away as he was walking towards me I ran out the door before he even got his words out. I drove off towards Cherry house.

"Aye did you here about Chiko last night"? she asked while getting into the car.

I nod my head yes.

"Well, ok then I think you might not wanna talk about it." I nod my head yes again, we rode in silence.

Boss man POV

I woke up to hear a knock on my door I got up too see who was. It was Slim I forgot I told him to come over last night. "Morning sleepy head". he said while coming through the door.

"Shhhh.... the kids are still sleep." I pointed upstairs to the room. "Have a seat, I know you are really wondering why I brought the kids out of the house but here's the real reason." "Those kids are mines". slim flinched at the comment like I just slapped him.

"How do you know that"? he asked standing up.

"It was about an year after the little one was boring and me and their mom split up, she said she couldn't deal being around all the violence so she up and left few months back she died from cancer every since then I've been looking for the kids. " somebody told me that Chiko had them, I was going to get them but that was the day you came over so I wanted to wait till the nigga was dead to get my kids back." Slim shook his head.

"Man that's cold, sorry for your lost." he said while shaking his head.

"It's all good bruh bruh only thing is I swea I can't remember their name I only remember their faces. I said while the oldest one walked in he looked to be like around the age of 13.

"Aye, son what's yo name." I asked walking to him.

"My name is Sherrod Davis Jr. and your my dad. I smile at him nice to know that his momma named him after me. He told me the name of the other 2; Shawn and Sasha they were twins, I didn't even know that. After slim left I cooked them breakfast and took them to get some clothes.
