After talking to shorty, I went to a phone booth on a conner and called up my little cousin Cherry. When she answered she sound sad, "Ayeee! Cherry what THA word is lil cus"? She scream in the phone as soon as she heard my voice, SLIM OMG YOUR OUT I CAN'T BELIVE IT!!!! I laughed. "Yo stop all that hollering an get yo butt down on 5th avenue too pick me up. Cherry was smiling so hard I hear it in her voice, Im only a 3 minutes away I'll be there on one wheel.

As I was waiting for cherry to come get me I seen one of my old friends that I got caught with but he rat on me saying I'm the one that everything was on me and he had witness and a good lawyer so they let him go, he started walking my way I tried to walk another direction but he call me, AYE SLIM I KNOW YOU SEE ME BRUH LEMME HOLLA AT YA FOR A SEC MAYNE!! I knew what he wanted but I just stop walking remembering that I told my cousin to meet me at this spot. So I asked, Wassup Chiko ! bruhh Ian seen you so long but I just wanna say I'm sorry for rantin on you like that I had a family and I couldn't leave them I hope you forgive me. I thought about it but I started to get mad so I spoke up an said what was on my mind. "Nahh ion forgive you mayne, you was Day 1 A1, my best friend and you betrayed me! You snitch like it wasn't nothin you ain't hesitate or nothing, while I was locked my momma was in the hospital fighting for her life because of the news she heard about me getting locked up and knew I was the only thing my mama ever had besides me an my cousin. "Yo man I'm sorry that's what I came over hea to talk about because Im sorry for your lost and lawd knows I missed yo momma cooking. I laughed"don't we all bruh", he nod his head saying "true". Cherry drove up in this candy red dodge camaro Chiko and I mouth both drop as she got out the car lil cus had put on a few weight since the last time I seen her she had weave did too didn't know what kind it was just knew she had too much of it in, it was all the way too her butt. "Close ya mouth chump", she said walking up too us. she ran over and gave me a hug not even speaking to Chiko. I guess they got beef or some I didn't care as long if I wasn't even because I can't go back to cleaning other men's clothes. "Hey cherry", Chiko said while smiling. "umm do I know you"? she asked. "Girl you know me we was in the 7th grade together it's me Chance Taylor, I was the one that looked like eziel from Friday" we both cracked up laughing as Chiko pretend to run around like a crackhead. When I got home I was tired from working all day school was giving me an headache I was tired of it but I wanted to graduate so I did everything I can, I have all my credits just need to take my tests and then I will be outta there finally.

My phone starter ringing I quickly grabbed it and look at the number I didn't recognize but I answered anyway.

"Hello"

"Is this Breauna"

"Yes this is she, may I ask who's asking"?he laughed "Yes you may, this Steven". I forgot he was gonna call me. "oh Wassup"? I responded "nothing much just was wondering what you was doing."

"Nothing really, but umm what did you mean about "when I find a place to settle in"? He took a long time to answer. "Shorty, can I trust you?" I responded quickly "yes"!! "Ok well if you must know i just got out if jail I had no where to go but now I'm at my cousin house until I get back on my feet, I was at the grave yard visiting my mom she died of an heart attack like 3 months ago, is there anything else you wanna know", he asked laughing "yes"! "how old are you"? "why were you in jail", I asked quickly. " I am 21", "I was in jail for drugs but now I'm clean I'm out of the game, I've changed all I need is money, car, house, clothes and a good girl with a good head on her shoulders".

"Oh really", I said sarcastically. He replied "yelp, now enough about me, How old are you"?

"I am 18, in the 12th grade doing things on my own my dad is dead, my mom ran off with her boyfriend after my dad died leaving me alone".
