Vanessa's pov

"Why didn't you tell me?" Niall asked me

"I told you it's one of my biggest secrets. Not even Mackenzie or Asante knew, just my parents" I said

"But why couldn't you tell me?" he asked me

"I just didn't want you to cheat or leave me because I had it, cause that's what Justin did" I said

"Well I'm not like Justin" he said

"I don't know if you are. Cause at times I don't know what your doing. Your with a girl that is not me. Your probably lying to me on text saying that you are at some place but really at home" I said

"So you don't trust me" he said

"That's not what I meant" I said

"So what does it mean?!" he question and I stayed silent

"I think if its better if we move on" he said

"Please Niall don't say that" I say as tears come slowly down my face

"Bye Vanessa" he said grabbing his coat

"Niall please don't" I say trying to get out of the hospital bed to walk but fail and I fell to the ground, but soon he closed the door

He left me

After a couple minutes, I'm still on the floor crying when the knob turns and I whispered "Niall?"

Soon the door open to see Luke running towards me

"Are you okay?" Luke asked picking me up and putting me on his lap and his arms around me

"I loved him" I said

"Loved who?" he asked

"Niall" I answered

"What happen?" he asked

"I didn't tell him I had cancer in my lungs and he says that don't trust him because I said I don't know if he's seeing another girl that's not me, and he says that I don't trust him. And he leaves. I do trust him" I say

"Vanessa" Luke said

"Yeah I know. He's right" I sniffed

"You have to learn how to trust people" he said

"How?" I asked

"I'll help you" he said

"LUKE STOP!! IT TICKLES!" I yelled in laughter

"Never!!!" he said as he kept tickling me

Well it's been a year and I finally survived lung cancer it's been a battle but I finally beat them. And 4 months later after me and Niall broke up, me and Luke started dating. I didn't know at first but he said to give him a try and i did. Oh and Asante and Calum are engaged so are Mackenzie and Justin Bieber. And Ashton finally got out of his 'little' crush on me and went out with a girl named Natalie.

"Please Luke it hurts" I said

"Will you give me a kiss?" he asked

"Yes! please just stop" I said and he did

"Where's my kiss?" he asked and I gave him 2 pecks on the lips then which it turned into a make out session and then the door knocked

"I'll get it" I said breaking the make out session

"Fine" he said

"To continue?" I ask

"Will do" he said and I ran to the door to open it and as I did I saw a face that I would never thought I would see again

"Niall?" I asked him

"Hi Vanessa" Niall said with a smile

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"I was going to ask for another chance" he said

"Babe who's at the door" I herd Luke say as he joins me at the door

"Luke this is Niall. Niall this is Luke my boyfriend" I say

"You have a boyfriend?" Niall asked

"Yeah she does. You got a problem?" Luke asked

"Luke please go inside, I'll be right in, in 10 minutes" I said

"Ok" he said as he went inside the apartment we share

"How did you find me?" I ask

"I asked Asante" he said

"Why do you all of a sudden want to come back with me?" I asked

"I told you we needed a break" he said

"Well you wanted to have a break, I never said I needed one" I said

"I just thought-" he said but I cut him off

"I know what your gonna say, I think it's better if you leave" I said

"Bye Vanessa" he said

"Bye Niall" I said and closed the door
