===========================
"Hey Jordan?!" I called, knocking on his door, "are you awake, you lazy butt?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming..." I heard him call from inside.
He opened the door as he was putting something in his hoodie pocket.
"You know you don't have to come make sure I'm awake." He said as we walked to the Lodge.
"Y-yeah, I know!" I replied, "I'm just making sure that someone didn't kill you in your sleep, or that you don't go into hibernation."
"Ok, ok." He replied.
We met up with everyone else at the Lodge, ate breakfast, then went to investigate the newest section of camp. This held counselor cabins 6 and 7.
"Two more counselors..." I said, "I hope they don't kill anyone."
There was also a swimming pool and a dojo.
"Weird..." Emi said, looking at the pool.
"Hm, what's weird?" I asked.
"Why would there be a pool if we can't even go in it?" She replied, "I mean, we don't have swimsuits. Is he expecting us to drown each other?"
"While that would be wonderful, no, that's not it." Monokuma said, popping up out of nowhere, "I have provided you all with swimsuits in your cabins. Go ahead! Check them out!"
Then he disappeared.
"That stupid bear..." Liz muttered.
"Might as well check it out, right?" I said.
"Yeah, let's go see." Emi replied.
Sure enough, in my cabin on my bed, was an orange one piece swimsuit. I quickly put it on and hurried back to the pool. Liz was already there, wearing a dark blue swimsuit like the streaks in her hair. Holding her hand was Mason, in sky blue swim trunks. Jordan walked over to us in red swim trunks. Emi was the last one to arrive, wearing and Emerald green one piece. I snorted at my pun, then quickly stopped. Some people were already in the pool, since we'd waited for our group people before going in. Felix, Mark, Mousie, and Nick had already gone in, doing flips in the water. The pools deep end was twelve feet deep, and there was a diving board.
"Woo!" I cried, hurrying to the diving board, and doing a pencil off of it.
I came up, took a deep breath, then smiled.
"Come on in! The water's great!" I called to my four friends.
Liz went over to the shallow end with Mason, and started walking with him. The shallow end was only about three feet. Emi pushed Jordan in, then cannonballed in herself. After a while, Mousie went over to Liz, and said,
"I can watch Mason, go hang out in the deep end for a little."
"Thanks Mousie." Liz said, and started to swim towards us.
Emi, Jordan, and I were standing in the four feet area, doing handstands in the water. Jordan was doing a handstand, and Emi and I weren't paying attention, when suddenly, Liz popped out of the water, and Emi was on her shoulders.
"Gah! Liz!" Emi screeched, startled.
"Chicken Fight!" Was all Liz responded with.
I heard Jordan cry, "You're on!" From behind me, and with out warning I was taller, face to face with Emi, on Jordan's shoulders.
"Wait, what are we supposed to do?!" I cried.
"You knock the other person off into the water!" Emi explained.
So that's what we did most of the time. Knocking each other off of someone else into the water. Mousie even came in at one point, with Mason on her shoulders to join in. He won every chicken fight. Later, after we got dried off, we went to the dojo. Inside, there were many swords. Katanas, and samurai. Real and fake. Everyone went to check it out.
"Cool!" Emi said, picking up a sheathed katana, "I've actually trained with swords like these before...the Despair stuff happened."
It was a fun morning/afternoon. After dinner, we all went to our cabins. I set my glasses next to my bed, then laid down and fell asleep, only to be woken up by what sounded like a gunshot. I shot straight up in bed, early morning sunlight pouring through the window. I grabbed my glasses and ran out the door. Please don't let it be one of them, please don't be one of them... I thought. I couldn't bear the thought of any of my friends dying. I breathed a sigh of relieve when I saw Liz, Mason, and Jordan gathered outside Liz and Masons cabin, and Emi was coming from her cabin.
"Thank goodness you guys are all right!" I cried.
"We could say the same thing about you!" Emi said.
Other people were coming out of their cabins.
"I think that shot could be heard through the whole freaking camp..." Felix muttered.
"That means it could have come from anywhere!" Mousie said.
"Should we go look?" Nick asked.
"Y-yeah! Let's go check it out." Mark said.
We all worked our way through The Lodge, first area, second area, and third area without finding anything. Then when we got to our newest area, we found more than we wanted. In the pool, with a pink cloud of blood around him, was the body of Gizzy. Liz ran into the locker room, and came out with one of those long nets that lifeguards use to clean the pool. Drawing the body to the edge of the pool, gruesome details showed themselves. A katana was shoved through the back of his chest.
"Jordan, do you mind helping me pull it out?" Liz asked.
"Yeah." He replied, "sure."
Together, the two of them hauled the body out of the pool, so the rest of us could examine it. Emi removed the katana and sat it next to Gizzy's body.
"It looks like he was stabbed from behind, then he fell into the pool...?" Dan speculated.
"Maybe." Nick said, "but look, there's a bullet wound in the side of his head."
It was true. Most of the blood had been washed away by the pool, but a bullet hole was still obvious, staining the dirty blonde hair around the wound pink. But where was the gun? I wondered. I walked around the pool, looking for it in the water. That's when the glint of metal caught my eye. A shiny revolver was lying at the far end of the pool, near the very edge of the locker rooms where Liz wouldn't have spotted it in a rush. The barrel was covered in pink blood. Another murder weapon? I had no idea?
