More then friends (Oliver x reader)

Chapter four

The rest of the week went by in a flash and before I new it, it was Saturday. I woke up early that morning and decided to go for a walk around the black lake. Since it was fairly hot outside I decided to wear a maroon tank top and denim shorts with a pair of my sandals.

After getting ready I headed down to the common room and saw George sitting on the couch. "Hey I was going to go for a walk around the lake do you want to come?" I asked. "Sure." He replied while standing up and walking to the exit where I was standing.

Once we got to the black lake we started talking. "So lately I've seen you staring at Ellie what's that about?" I asked. He smiled before saying. "I have feelings foe her but we've been friends since I can remember and I don't want to tell her and ruin the friendship." He said.

"Well if you've been friends for that long and she doesn't like you back wouldn't she get it and you guys could stay friends." I don't know why I was saying this seeing as though I won't admit that I like Oliver because I don't want to ruin the friendship.

"Well why have you been staring at Wood so much lately?" He asked with a smirk. I came to a halt and froze where I was. I didn't know what to say and I felt like I couldn't breathe. When I finally took in a breath I said " I think I fancy him but I don't know." I said.

"Well when you do know come and tell me." He said. "Ok." I said before starting to walk again. We finally made it all the way around the lake and started heading back up to the castle. We entered the common room to a angry Oliver.

I didn't feel like dealing with teenage boy hormones at the moment so I walked up the girls stair case in hopes that Ellie was awake so I could talk to her about the George thing. Luckily Ellie was sitting on her bed reading a book.

"Hey can we talk?" I asked. "Sure what about?" She asked. "Well we haven't had any girl talk yet this year so I was wondering if you fancy anyone yet?" I asked. "Well there is this one guy who I've grown feelings for but if he knew it could ruin everything we have." She said.

"Who is it?" I asked eagerly. "Ok well um it may or may not be George." She said. "OH MY GOD!!" I shouted. "What?" She asked confused. "Me and George were walking around the black lake this morning and I asked him who he fancied and he said you as well but didn't tell you because he thought it would ruin your friendship." I said.

"Your joking." Ellie said. "No I'm not now go talk to him." I said while pushing her out the door. "And you have to tell me everything when you get back." I added. "Okay I will , see you in a little bit." She said.

While Ellie was down stairs I got out the homework I hadn't finished the night before. I was halfway through my homework when I looked at the clock ans noticed lunch started 30 minuets ago. I put my stuff on my bedside table and started down stairs.

I was walking towards the top of the stairs when Alicia showed up out of nowhere. "Hello (l,n)." She said. "Hello Alicia." I said in the nicest voice I could muster. "How are you today?" She asked. "Good you?" I asked. "Good but I know what would make my day better." She said. " And what may that be?" I asked.

"This." She said while pushing me down the stairs. Now in the four years I have been here I have probably fallen down these stairs a million times, but I always fell on butt on the way down this time I fell on my head and let me tell you it hurt a lot worse this way.

I probably hit my head a million times before I finally reached the end of the stairs. I had black dots forming in the corner of my eyes and my head hurt like hell but before I could do anything all I saw was black.

(Oliver's POV)

I was walking back to the common room by myself since I had finished my food before the others. I opened the portrait door and the first thing I saw was (Y,n)'s unconscious body laying on the floor.

I ran over to her and checked her pulse. Her heart was still beating so I scooped her up into my arms and in that moment I realized I couldn't loose her she means everything to me even if she doesn't feel the same way.

I started my way to the hospital wing and when I got there I shouted Madam Pomfrey. She came rushing out of her office and ran over to me. She told me to put her on the bed so I gently placed her on it and sat in the chair in the right side of her bed.

Madam Pomfrey did a bunch of medical stuff I honestly had no clue what before saying "I don't when or if she's going to wake up but for the time being I'm keeping her here.". I was on the verge of tears after hearing her say that.

"Is it okay if I go get some of her friends?" I asked. "Yes but only for a little bit." She said. I immediately rushed to the common room expecting them to be done with there lunch. And they were done when I walked in I saw them sitting around the fire.

"Guys th-there has b-been an ac-accident." I stuttered while holding back the tears. "What happened?" Ellie asked panicked. "(Y,n)'s in the h-hospital wing." I said. They immediately rushed over to me and we started walking back to the hospital wing.

I pushed open the door and let Ellie,Fred, and George walk passed me before stepping in myself. Ellie took the seat on the left of her and Fred and George stood at the end of the bed and I sat back down in the seat I was in minuets before.

Ellie started crying and Fred and George's faces were drained of all color as if they were dead. I let a tear slip as I looked back over at (y,n)" I can't loose you." I whispered.

The next week went by and (y,n) still hadn't waken up until one morning Ellie,Fred,George,and I had all gotten letters from Madam Pomfrey saying (Y,n) had woken up. I springed up from my chair at the same time as the other three and we all raced for the hospital wing.

When we walked in (Y,n) was sitting propped up on her pillows reading a book. She looked up at me and then looked at the others we stood there in silence before I couldn't take it anymore and ran over to her and held her tightly in my arms.

As I sat there in Oliver's tight grip I felt really safe as if everyone around me wasn't there and it was just us two. He pulled away from and held my shoulders as we looked into each others eyes. I almost meted onto his chocolate brown ones.

Then he said "Never do that again.". "I wan't planning on being pushed down the stairs again." I said. "WAIT WHAT SOMEONE PUSHED YOU!!" Ellie yelled. "Yeah I'm not that clumsy" I said. "Well who was it?" Fred asked.

"Alicia." I said rather quietly. "What was that?" Fred asked. "Fricken Alicia." I almost shouted. They all looked at me shocked at what I had just said. "Why?" Ellie asked anger clear in her voice. " I don't know we were just having a regular conversation and she said her day was good but something could make it better I asked her what and she said this right before pushing me down the stairs." I said.

"You have to tell Professor Dumbledore." Oliver said. "Theres no proof though and every body was at lunch so nobody could have witnessed it." I said. "Well you can still try." Oliver urged. "I will tell him when I get out of here." I said. As I said that Madam Pomfrey came out and told them it was time for class and that they had to go.

I sighed as I watched them leave I was really tired and decided to take a nap instead of continuing reading my book. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.
