"This is my house," Hiyori said, walking up to the front door.
"This is a house?" I asked. "Looks more like a hotel."
"Oh come on now," Hiyori said. "I'm just a normal teenager."
"Normal?" I asked. "Not in my book."
"You can sleep on this futon," Hiyori said, pulling a futon from her closet. I glanced inside and saw you could sleep in it.
"That's a closet!?" I exclaimed. "What kind of world do you live in!?"
"What do you mean?" Hiyori asked. "I'm just a normal teenage girl. Now let's see what clothes I can let you have." She went into her closet as I unfolded the futon. Plopping down on it, I realized how tired I was. "Here," Hiyori said, tossing me a blue T-shirt and black leggings. "Sorry they might not be the best, but those are the best things I've got for you."
"You're so kind, Hiyori," Yato said, appearing in the room with Yukine. Yukine was being held by the back of his shirt and Yato didn't seem to notice how Yukine was giving him angry glares. Hiyori muffled a shout as she ran over to shut her door.
"Um... WHAT!?!?" Hiyori shouted at them. "Get out of here!!!" She kicked Yato and he released Yukine.
"Thank you, Hiyori," he said, looking at her. "I greatly appreciate your kind service. Now then." Yukine glared at Yato. They started to beat each other up with Hiyori on Yukine's side. I watched them for a few moments before frowning.
"Oww!" Yato exclaimed, putting his hand on the back of his neck. "Yukine, what were you thinking about just then?"
"What!?" Yukine asked. "I didn't sting you!" Everyone looked at me. "Nanami must've done it."
"Done what?" I asked.
"Nanami," Yato asked, looking at me. "What were you just thinking about?"
"You guys are really close," I said quietly. "I guess I don't really belong here." I looked at my right hand where Miki was imprinted in red. "I think you should just release me, Yato."
"Don't think negatively or you'll sting Yato," Yukine explained. "It hurts him and his neck will start to turn purple. That purple is call blight. If the blight spreads throughout his whole body, he'll die." I covered my mouth.
"I'm sorry," I said to Yato. "I didn't know I was hurting you."
"You've still got a lot to learn," Yato said. "Come on. I'll explain everything to you when we get back to Kofuku's place."
"What!?" Hiyori protested. "I thought she was staying with me!"
"I'll stay over another time," I said. "I'll go with Yato and Yukine back and let them tell me what's going on."
"Ok," Hiyori sighed. "I'll see you guys tomorrow then." Yato smiled and grabbed hold of my arm. I was then transported to a small attic room with one window and a small door in the corner.
"Where are we?" I asked.
"This is our home, I guess," Yukine said. He went over to a small table near the window and sat down. He started working on some papers he had.
"That's an easy problem," I said, looking over his shoulder.
"Really?" Yukine asked. "It's so hard for me."
"Here," I said, taking the pencil from him. "First you fill in the formula with the numbers form the problem. After that, you can do this, or this." I showed him on the paper and his face lit up.
"Oh thanks for your help," he said. "I can understand it now."
"So," Yato said, lying on the floor and propping his head up with his arm. "You're my new Regalia. You could be very useful to me."
"Really?" I asked. "I'm just a regular black pistol."
"You're bullets are a mix of silver and gold," Yato said. "That means you're a little special. I don't know how, but you're more special than Bishamon's Kazuha and Karuha."
"Well it would've been nice if you were attire like Tsuguha," Yukine said, keeping his head down, looking at the homework.
"Yukine!" Yato said. "That's rude!"
"YOU BASTARD!!!!!" someone shouted, kicking the door open. He is brown hair was messed up and he was glaring directly at Yato. "HOW DARE YOU COME HOME THROUGH THE WINDOW!!!!!!!"
"I teleported here," Yato said. The man looked at Yato and then grabbed him by the scruff.
"I don't give a damn," he said. "Come through the door next time, got it?" Still glaring at Yato, he noticed me. He stared at me for a while before looking at Yato. "So you got a new Regalia?"
"Her name's Nanami," Yato said. I looked at him.
"How do you know my human name?" I asked. Everyone in the room stopped and looked at me.
"Never mind," Yato said. "Her name is Natsuki. Come! Miki!"
"Wait!" I shouted and I didn't turn into a pistol. "Answer my question!"
"Yatty!" a pink haired girl shouted, running in the room with her hands in the air. "You're back!!"
"Hey there, Kofuku," Yato said, but before she could give him a hug, the man grabbed her and pulled her into the air.
"Lets go before you cause misfortune for this new Regalia," he said.
"You're no fun, Daikoku," she said with a sour face. She saw me and her eyes lit up again. "A new Regalia!!" She tried to squirm out of Daikoku's grasp, but he walked over to the door with her.
"Hope she doesn't cause too much misfortune for you," Daikoku called, go down a flight of stairs behind the door.
"No worries!" I called after them. I looked at Yato. "God of Misfortune?"
"Yeah," he sighed. "Like Daikoku said, she caused a lot of disasters before. I hope your near few days aren't full of misfortune."
"Don't worry," I said.
"Here," Yato said, getting up and pulling two futons out. "You and Yukine can have them. I'm use to sleeping on the ground."
"Are you sure?" I asked, but Yato waved me away. I lay down on his futon and fell asleep almost as soon as my head hit the pillow."Miki!" Yato shouted in the middle of the night. I was woken up because of the transformation.
"Who?" I asked alarmed. "What?"
"Sorry, Nanami," Yato said as he stuffed me in his belt. He held Yukine's two blades and jumped out the window.
"Where are we going?" I asked, looking from Yato's point of view.
"To meet with Bishamon," Yato said.
