Tris is asleep, half covered up with the blanket. Christina is asleep as well, layed across the three seats in the back. I wish I could sleep, I am tired but there is only one more mile to drive until we are at my apartment.
After I drop Christina off I will make Evelyn leave my apartment so Tris and I can live there.
I walk Christina up, she gets out of the car, and hugs Tris, she waves goodbye then dissapears behind her closed door. Right away Tris falls back asleep, I feel bad because I have to wake her soon.
We arrive at my apartment, I shake Tris to wake her up. She groans but when she notices I'm the one shaking her she wakes up. She slowly walks with me, knowing Evelyn is in the apartment. We walk inside silently so we cannot be heard.
I see Evelyn. My eyes widen and I feel the anger build up inside of me. Walking toward her I yell:
"Get out of here, get everything you own and leave. You hurt Tris, you made me believe she was dead! I should have known you would pull something like this, you sorry excuse for a mother!" she rolls her eyes and I continue to speak
"If you ever come back I promise I will kill you the second you get back, or if I find out you are back! Now go live with Matthew or some and GET OUT!"
I watch her get everything of hers and she leaves, I sigh with relief. I look at Tris and she looks sad, broken, fragile, but of course she is. She hugs me tight and cries.
"Im sorry Tris..." I say as I kiss her forehead
"Don't be... Thank you... Tobias I-I really missed you." she says softly.
"I have missed you every second of every day"
"I could say the same but I was out for a couple of days after the kidnapping, at first I didn't even know what was happening." she says coldly.
I tense up at the thought of her being tourtered I cannot stand it, I hold her tightly to myself and stifle a sob. I hug her tighter hoping that if i do i will never lose her again, i cant ever lose her again. I think of when I first met her, she was first to jump, a stiff, I grab her hand. "What is your name?" I ask non- chaulantly.
"Bea.... um t.. um urm." she struggles
"is it a hard one?" i ask sarcastically.
"Tris." she replies boldly.
"First jumper, Tris!" i yell through the intercom. helping her off the mat i say, "Welcome to Dauntless." and she walks over by Lauren.
