Wolf and the XMen: a mutants story

I trotted back through the door we had come through, and in one of the open doors of the building I found a lab coat and put it on as I shifted back to human form, and leaned back against the cement wall and waited for Logan. A couple minuets later I Logan walked through the door,

"you know kid that's pretty amazing... That you came back",he pulled me in for another hug,

"yeah... Yeah it is"I replied, I pulled away and looked up at him,

"I never knew I could do that...turn into a wolf",

"that was pretty awesome to"he said, and he grinned down at me.

We walked down the hall and found the others

"I take it, he's gone?"asked Cyclopes, Logan nodded. We walked back to the plane, nobody really spoke about anything. When we got back, the professor and I discussed what had happened. And I showed Willow and Alexa my new power. They liked it.

Two months later

We were in a little separate kitchen area that wasn't the dinning hall, I was sitting at the kitchen table with with a cake in front of my, with 14 lit candles on the cake, Willow and Alexa had just finish singing me happy birthday. They had each gotten me a little present, Willow had gotten me a sapphire necklace, because it was my birthday gemstone, and Alexa had gotten me a camouflage long sleeve shirt.

Logan walked through the door. He was caring a little package wrapped in blue wrapping paper."happy birthday kid"he said said to me."thanks Logan"I excitedly said back, I delicately removed the wrapping paper, there was a little cardboard box, I made one of my claws come out and cut the packing tape away, I opened the little cardboard flaps inside was a dog tag of my very own, on one side it read "Dakota" and on the other it read "Wolf"

I hoped off the chair and gave Logan a hug"thanks Logan"I said, he gave me a warm smile.
