Problems

Rude Much

Katherine~
I walk through the doors expecting to melt once I place my foot inside the church my sister dragged me into.

My sister looks at me and smiles.
"See Katherine, you made it.
I knew you weren't the spawn of Satan."

I glare and her while she smirked, not noticing that someone was approaching me.

"Hey Katherine."
I recognized that voice.
Turning around I saw Luke smiling at me.
See I knew I knew that voice.

"Hey Luke, I didn't take you as the type of person that goes to church, no offense by the way."

He smiles and shrugs. " None taken, and your right, I'm not the church type of guy.

I'm kind of allergic to holy stuff, but Paster Bob, AKA my stepdad, made me come saying he needed help."

I nodded totally understanding his point of view, because of what I had to go through in the morning with my sister.

I just would have never imagined Luke's dad, well stepdad, being a paster.

Katherine and I talk for as long as we
could in the hallway trying to take up
time and avoid entering the auditorium
where the sermon
was going to take place.

I look at her, knowing we both did t want
to go inside, but we had to anyways.

We walk in and decide we would sit next to each other.

I turn around to look at her and notice something strange.
I noticed that when I wanted to sit next to her she got mad and said that I was rude.

Did I do something? There was no one there, so how was I rude?

Maybe I'll ask her after the service.

Luke is really nice but when we were about to sit down he almost squashed my mom.
Like how rude can you be?

I looked at him in disbelief.
"How rude can you be, can't you
see someone's sitting there?"

He was going to say something back,
but I brushed him off already
angered at him trying to move
my mom from her seat.

Couldn't he see her?

Why is it that everyone else in the world
acts like if she's not here, when in reality she is?

People are really rude.
