The Tour

chapter 3

Elsa's POV

"This was such an amazing day," Emma said. We were now heading back to my house. It was was around 5 o'clock and the sun was setting, leaving the sky to look like a rainbow of all colors.

"It seriously was," I said overwhelmed, thinking about all the events that happened today. I stuffed my big towel into my drawstring bag. My feet sunk into the soft sand for the last time today as we exited the woods.

A buzz went off so I checked my phone for a new text

MOM: 'you can invite Emma to a sleepover to night and then I can take you both to your guys to your soccer game tomorrow'

I quickly sent a thank you text to my mom and put my phone into my back pocket.

"wanna sleepover?" I asked excitedly. It would be rare if Emma and I didnt have a sleepover every week.

"Yeah" she replied quickly. I told her that how we would walk to her house first so she can grab her sleep over stuff and soccer equipment. This was such a great way to end a crazy day.

Elsa's POV

It has been three slow weeks since we have seen fifth harmony. Emma and I have one more week of sophomore year, before the start of June and summer. I have talked to a few of the girls since we met. Other than that I havent really heard anything from them.

Emma and I have been hanging out, basically a lot. But, we absolutely can't wait for summer. All our days at the rock and the carnival, hanging out with a few of our other friends, and more, are soon to come. It feels like life is going in slow motion, we just got to keep moving forward.

We were at my house lounging on my big couch in the living room. My mom is at the store but my brother Tyler, who is my fraternal twin, is upstairs in his room. Unlike most brothers and sisters, Tyler and I get a long so well. Its highly unlikely for us to even fight once a month, and i'd like to keep it that way.

The theme song for sponge bob played in the back round of our conversation we were having. We had decided that we were going to make a vine but couldn't figure out which song to sing.

Our vine was just us two where all we posted was singing vines. We had become pretty popular over the months. Right now, we had 896k followers and our fans were seriously the sweetest people ever.

"We should sing 'Still Into You' by Paramore," Emma exclaimed. We discussed the part of the song we were going to sing and eventually got it all figured out.

'Baby not a day goes by that i'm not into you!' We sang in unisson. The high note was a bit difficult, causing some mess-ups and a fit of laughs. But, it only took a few minutes for us to get it right.

I smiled at our new accomplished vine and posted it. My phone immediately started to blow up with notifications from vine. In the mix of all the notifications I had gotten a text from Lauren.

With out hesitation, I quickly opened it up to reveal her text she sent me. I read it out loud so Emma could hear too.

LAUREN: Elsa, I have huge news to tell both you and Emma. Please meet me and the girls at the rock in an hour if youre not busy. Sorry bout the late notice but hope to see you there

I looked at Emma with my eyes wide and I can tell she had the same emotions as I did.

"Lets go," she jumped off the couch. We ran around the house, throwing certain things into our bags. We grabbed our swim suits and quickly slipped them on. Before we left I yelled up to Tyler that we were heading over to the beach. He quickly replied to be safe and then were off on our way to the rock.

As we approached the rock, emma said "Come on," she said as she dragged me through the quiet, peaceful woods.

At the rock we sat each of our bags down and stood there for a moment thinking. The girls werent there yet so we had some time to kill but we didnt have a clue what to do, there was just to much.

"Two words," I said giving her an evil grin. She looked at me and i saw a evil smile playing at her lips too

" Rope swing!" I cried out. Emma laughed then sprinted to the edge of the rock. She swung off the rope that was a attached to the giant willow tree and made a big splash into the water.

"Ahhhhh!" I screamed like Tarzan. I gripped the old rope as hard as I could. I've been on this rope swing a numerous amount of times and not once have I fallen off at the wrong time. But of course, today had to be the day to break that.

My hands slipped from the slippery rope. I tried to hold on but I got rope burn from sliding down the rope. I screamed as I fell into the shallow part by the rock. I hit the water hard and felt my feet immediately hit the rocks at the bottom.

The rocks' pointy edges dug into my feet as I stood for the surface. WHen my head pooped out from under neath the water I gasped for air.

"Elsa are you ok?" I heard some one, other than Emma ask, concerned. I turned around to see Lauren kneeling at the very edge of the rock. All for 4 girls kneeled next to her waiting for my response with worried looks on each of there faces.

"Yeah ," I huffed, embarrassed as I made an effort to push myself onto the rock but it was no use. My hands stung from the rope burns.

"Well this is awkward," I mumbled as I waded through the water all the way around the rock. I walked up to the sand and went right onto the rock.

"So, um, whats the news," I asked, now all my attention on them.

"Well," started Camila, a smile growing on her face. "As you know, we are going on another summer tour, and we need an opening act for our concerts," she said, her voice trailing off. The suspense was strong and it was absolutely killing me.

"And we want you to go!" squealed Ally. I looked over at Emma as my chin nearly dropped so far that I thought it could touch the rock. She looked back at me with the same expression. I was so surprised and yet, extremely....nervous.
