Elsa's POV
"No way," I screamed so loud that I'm pretty sure i just blew out my own ear drums. It felt like the world was spinning a bit too fast as me and Emma hugged. I sobbed into her shoulder and she did the same to me.
When the cheering died my smile immediately was gone. I felt like everything was finally coming together when i ended up tripping on the truth and then reality slapping me across my face. How could I EVER preform infront of all those people. Th girls began explaining details about the tour, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Also, on Tuesday night, our manager and a few other people would like to speak with your parents over a dinner at Olive Garden," explained Ally.
"And we get to eat there too!" said Camila. We all laughed at her comment but seconds later wishing I was eating there right now.
"Plus we get to wear dresses!" Normani added quickly. I smiled at the thought of being able to dress up. If only the night could come faster.
We ended up talking the rest of our hours that we had left on that sunday after noon, but eventually we had to go, sadly. We said our good byes but this time we new we would see each other soon.
Emma and I walked back to our houses. I told her good bye as she ran up her front lawn and into the screen door. I walked down and a few more houses and had reached my own.
As soon as I walked in, I could smell the steak my mom was making for dinner. In the kitchen, I found my brother Tyler helping, so I decided to pitch in too. I took the plates out to the table and laid them out for the three of us. I had mental battle in my head of when to tell them the good news. It was decided that I would explain it over our dinner.
We sat at the table and for a few seconds, we ate in silence. I bounced around in excitement. I couldnt contain myself so I ended up blurting it out all in one breath. At the end I gaspes for air and let a smile cover my face.
"Thats awesome," Tyler said with a dorky grin.
I glanced over at my mom and could tell she was happy. "This is an amazing oppertunity Riley!" she said. "Your dad would be so proud," she said softly. I looked at the charm bracelet that was bound to my wrist. My dad had given it to me on my 10th birthday, months before he had passed. I smiled at it and played with the delicate little charms.
Later that night my mom had talked on the phone with Emma's mom about the meeting. I listened, ok fine, eavesdropped on their conversation. I thought my heart was going to fall out of my chest as I waited for their decision. When my mom said good bye, I pressed my ear to the door an listened intently.
Suddenly, the wooden door-that lead to my mom's office in our house-opened too fast for me to react and I fell flat on my face. My mom just chuckled and helped me up.
"A little warning next time?" I questioned sarcasticly.
"sure hun," she replied, laughing. "Anyways, Emma's mom and I have decided that this was a great oppertunity for you two, so we are going to go to the meeting this sunday," she said happily. I grabbed her hands and pulled her out of her chair.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said. So this is actually going to happen?
