" What is it? " Tray wondered out loud. Jonah followed her inside of the den.
" It's obviously something that can kill you so don't touch it! " Jonah yelled. It was to late. Tray was already rubbing her dirty paws all over it. A sudden flash blinded us all. Jonah's face became pail. I buried my face in my arms to protect my eyes.
" What the hell did you do? " I yelled.
" Oh like I'm the one to know everything now! " Tray said sarcastically rolling her eyes.
" We need to get out .... Of this den..... Or this place will.... Explode! " I screamed between gasps. I could hardly breath and my head was spinning. A sudden glow appeared in front of us, and of course, Tray started touching it right away. Suddenly, water rose from the ground. All of us took one last breath before going under. I wasn't born a natural swimmer, but I still kicked my legs, hoping that counts as swimming. I looked around to see if I could spot Tray or Jonah, but all of it was to blurry to see. I felt a paw on my shoulder pull me back. I couldn't turn around to see who it was, so I trusted my gut and let them pull me in.
" HOLLY CRAP! " I heard Astraya's voice rise. " That was a blast! Let's do it again! " Tray started running back towards the den. My eyes widened.
" You're not doing that again you little bitch! " I screamed and pulled her back away from the wooden den. Both of us began laughing as I pulled her to the ground. WHOOSH! A flash of light made Tray and I stop what we were doing.
" The flash came from over there, in Jonah's direction! " Tray said getting up and dusting herself off. We both sprinted to where Jonah was standing. The area was filled with smoke, but that didn't cover up what Jonah was transformed to.
