"Do you believe in magic?"

Frisk's mother asked in a sing song voice. Frisk was just a young girl at the time. She was probably three or four. Small, innocent, and had a bruise at the knee. Her mother gently placed her hand at the bruise, Frisk winced in response.

"Pain, pain, begone again!
Go away or you will say
'Owie wowie! I'm sorry!'"

Frisk giggled at her silly mom, and her mom did so as well. Her hand was then lifted from Frisk's knee, and the wound.. Well, it was still there. But Frisk didn't mind, she believed that her mother had healed it. It did hurt a lot less now anyway.

The loving mother placed a kiss on her daughter's forehead and warned, "Now dear, this is why you stay away from cliffs. You're lucky its a small one! You don't want to hurt yourself do you?" Ask quickly as she had heard it, Frisk shook her head.

"That's good dear." Her mother let out a soft sigh, soft enough so that Frisk wouldn't hear. "Come on now, Frisk! Its getting dark and dinner's already ready! Hurry before some Monsters gobble them all up!" Frisk's mother playfully started roaring and tickling her child. Frisk laughed and laughed to the point where she was on her back. Her mother stopped, laughing along.

Frisk got to her feet, and walked with her mother hand in hand back to their house.

Away from Mount Ebott.
