The Boys

So the the fued that went on between Louis and Zayn never happened in this book.

Zayn's mansion

I pulled into my long driveway and heard Jaelynn gasp. I got worried for a second until she said.

"Daddy, you live in a castle" I was happy she was calling me dad which meant she actually like me.

"Almost a castle it's actually al mansion." I said parking the car. I got out and went to the other side to get my little one. I opened the door and unbuckled her before taking her out and carrying her inside. I took her on a tour of the house leaving her room last. When we got the her door I set her door then opened the door. Her eyes widen as she saw her room. I didn't know if the girl I was adopting was more of a tomboy or a princess. He was fifty percent sure Jaelynn was a tomboy cause she didn't have anything girly on but it could be that that was all the orphanage had for her to wear. I doubted that since the look on her face said she loved it.

She looked up at me as if to say is this for me. I nodded and she smiled and ran into her room. As I watch her play with her toys my phone began to ring. Louis's name flashedacross the screen. He had no idea why Louis would call him they hadn't talked since he left the band.

"Jaelynn, I will be right back" I said before heading across the hall to my room. I closed the door a little before answering.

"Hey Zayn" he said.

"You haven't said one word to me since I left and all you have to say is hey Zayn." I said.

"I'm sorry I was just mad and I didn't know what to say."

"I understand that but you didn't have to completely erase me from you life."

"I know and I'm so sorry"

"I had to find out that you got a girl pregnant on the freaking news!!" I said.

"I never touched her she's saying I did but I never did." He said as my bedroom door opened and Jaelynn walked in.

"Louis I can't talk my daughter just walked in." I said then hung up.

"Who that daddy?" She asked.

"That was your dad's old band mate." I said picking her up.

"You sing daddy?"

"Yup" I said heading out of my room. I went downstairs to make lunch for us.

"Can you sing for me daddy?" She asked. I began singing the song I sang at the X-Factor auditions, Let Me Love You by Mario as I put her in her booster seat and made us macaroni and cheese. When I was done she smiled and clapped her hand.

"I'm guessing you like my singing voice." I said.

"You have nice voice" she said.

"Thanks little one" I said as I got out her lady bug plate and put some macaroni and cheese on it. I grabbed a toddler fork and set them both in front of her before dishing my own plate.

"Can we-" she said but was interrupted by the doorbell.

"Finish eating while I see who is at the door." I said getting up. I made my way out of the kitchen through the living room and checked the security camera before sighing. I opened the door to see four pairs of eyes on me. "I changed my pin to my gate how did you get in?"

"It took us five minutes to figure out that you used the year your mother was born." Harry said.

"What do you guys want?" I sighed.

"You adopted a daughter it's all over the news." Liam said.

"We wanted to see the little one and apologize for the way we treated you." Niall said. I felt Jaelynn's little hands on the back of my jeans and heard four sets of gasp. I looked down to see Jaelynn looking at the boys curiously. I picked her up and set her on my hip.

"Guys, this is my daughter Jaelynn, Jaelynn these are my friends Harry, Niall, Liam and Louis." I said.

"She's so cute" Louis said.

"Me no cute me so pretty" she sassed.

"She's got some sass" Harry said. I moved away from the door so they could come in. I shut the door once they were all in before looking at Jaelynn.

"Did you finish your macaroni and cheese?" She nodded and I have her a look before she shook her head. "Sweetheart, don't lie to daddy just say no I didnt."

"Otay" she said. I kissed her head before setting her down.

"There are some toys you can play with in over there." I said.

"Otay" She smiled and headed to where I pointed. The boys had been watching me the whole time and I just barely noticed.

"What?"

"Nothing" they said. I sighed and heading to the kitchen to clean up lunch. The boys followed me and watched as I cleaned the dishes.

"So what made you want to adopt?" Liam asked.
