For countless nights I hast observed the stars
Watching them as if I'm to commit crime
Connecting the dots took my minutes till hours
Thy eyes never fail to captivate mine.
But as I stared too long at the night sky
A peculiar thing was on my right side
Clusters of stars unveiled before my eyes
Whilst star was alone with none to confide.
Lonely crawls in thy sleep, slowly it kills
Take every ounce of thee and what you preach
I can't help but understand how it feels
Alone in the dark with no one to reach.
Nothing confides and made a slave out of thee
Until thee just imagine the time he was once free
