"Who's there?" I whipped my head around but saw nothing but the swirling colors. "What's going on?"

"Oh don't worry pretty, we're just playing you're not in any danger...Yet." The smug voice spoke again.  Suddenly the boy appeared, allowing me to attach the voice to his face. He was young no younger than I but no older than twenty. His voice was strong and so was he but his muscles were lean not bulky, visible through a black button up with the sleeves rolled up tucked into a pair of dark blue jeans. He had flawless olive skin, dark brown hair, and piercing green eyes. But most of all, he undeniably, had a motive.

"Why am I here, why did you bring me here. Who are you." I asked cursing my self for the cracks in my voice.

He sighed, "I thought you'd be cooler than this." He coolly crossed his arms across his chest and said. "We'll have time for 20 questions later for now I'm gonna show you the way out." He put his hand out for me to grab.

"The way out of where, what is this. Don't put that near me." I said slapping his hand away and immediately regretting it. When I was nervous I always made bad decisions.

"Feisty hmm. Well I already told you we're in the in between and if you don't saddle up i'll be the least of your worries, so just follow me." He started walking in a direction I guess was forward.

"You're the one who brought me here!" I stomped. After the echos of my tantrum died down I heard the sound of rocks scratching on the floor. "What's that?" I asked the color draining from my face.

"What did I tell you." He growled. He ran back, grabbed my hand and pulled me forward. My knees felt weak beneath my body as we ran. I wasn't very agile to begin with let alone running on jello. I looked back and saw a cluster of rocks, but it was moving, quickly, towards us. What must've been eyes glowed purple somewhere within the rocks. My breath caught in my throat but I told myself I would not cry.

"Stop them!" The monster snarled in a raspy voice. "That is Rhiannon!" Suddenly swarms of other rock monsters appeared from seemingly nowhere, when the boy and I arrived at a bright blue spot in the side of the orb like tunnel. something grabbed hold of  my wrist. With a strong tug the boy pulled me out of the creature's grasp and through the blue spot with a similar feeling as I felt through the mirror.

I fell to the floor of a very pink bedroom with a thud. I looked down at my left forearm which had several scratches on it, none too deep. Still, I kept myself from speaking, knowing that if I did, tears would fall. Instead, I looked around the bedroom taking in my surroundings, only to realize that we were in my bedroom, except everything that was blue was now pink, and on the floor next to the bed there was me in a bubblegum pink dress, lifeless.

"What the hell." I managed to gasp as I rushed up to the girls, or, my side. I held her head up, her eyes were closed, she had no pulse.

"She's dead." I told the boy.

"Yeah that happens." He nodded.

I squinted at him. "So am I her?"

"No you're not her, you're you, she's dead." He assured me.

"Okay... So who are you?" I questioned.

"I'm glad you asked, let me show you." He smirked and offered me a hand to help me up.

I rejected it and stood on my own, unsure of whether I wanted to accept help from someone who was so nonchalant about being in a room with a dead girl.

He shrugged it off and began speaking. "I am Kal, it's short for Kaland but you won't call me Kaland.  I'm what you call a dimension hopper." He motioned for me to follow him and we walked through my house only reversed.
