You stepped up to the gates of Galley La. Your stomach plump and seemed it was about to burst. You held a basket on your forearm as you looked over the fence.
"Lucci!" You called.
He perked up to you, he hummed approaching you as you both shared soft kisses. He pulled back as his eyes kept to your stomach. His hand rubbed over your swollen belly before he smiled softly.
"I brought you your lunch." You said.
"Thank you, but you shouldn't be up and around. You should be in bed and-"
"Yes yes I know Hattori. I'm fine. I'm not due for another couple of months."
"Don't stress yourself out too much-"
"I'm fine. What's a little walking gonna do?"
"Oh right, we're gonna have to come home soon and board up the house. Aqua Laguna is going to hit sometime tonight. We'd hate to see you get caught in it."
You sighed, "Yes yes, I will head for higher ground when the time comes. You'll meet me at the light post in the town right?"
"Of course."
You smiled, "Then I will see you then."
You exchanged kisses and the basket. Before you headed back into town. Where everyone had greeted these pirates. But something felt off. Like something was going to happen. But you brushed it off and headed into town. Where you found your place and saw Paulie running down the street with bill collectors on his tail. You giggled heading into your home. Where you lied down on the couch rubbing your stomach. You purred softly soothing yourself to sleep.
Once you awoke there was a knock on your door earning your attention. You grumbled getting up and heading to the door. Paulie stood with the door and window to block off your house.
"You might want to start heading for higher ground." He said.
"Just a minute. I need to grab some of our stuff."
You headed upstairs while Paulie stood in the doorway setting down the door and window. As you grabbed your backpack you stopped at the top of the steps. You pursed your lips slightly.
"Paulie?"
"Yeah?"
"Can you help me down the stairs?"
He stepped inside and headed upstairs to pick you up. Then head down the stairs. He set you down as you held onto your bag.
"Thank you. But I better go find Lucci. He said he would wait for me at the light post."
He hummed as you stepped out of the room. Paulie watched you walk off to the light post.
"Be careful (Y/N)." He muttered.
You stood there for hours. Until the sun had finally fallen into the horizon. While the storm was brewing. The wind blew hard and the water was flooding. You still stood waiting for your husband.
"Lucci?!" You called.
There was an explosion having you gasp turning to Galley La.
"Lucci." You muttered.
You bolted off in your hybrid form. Darting to Galley La as the rain began to pour. As you got there the place was ablaze. You gasped softly as tears pooled in your eyes. Iceberg, Paulie, Kalifa, Kaku, and Lucci's name's rung out from the people. Tears pooled in your eyes but everyone gasped as a window broke and something broke through.
You pushed through the people to Paulie and Iceberg were thrown to the grassy floor. You knelt down to them trying to wake them. Paulie soon awoke and clutched onto your wrist.
