On a Monday morning, my usual odium for the day had begun just when my aunt had refused giving me ice cream the night before. I quickly get up from the bed because of the reverberating sound my alarm had made. I had my devotion and quickly rushed to brush my teeth and take a bath, I'm not really that fashionable, so I take a pair of my black denim jeans and a white shifon top which my aunt had bought for me a while ago. I wear my black flat shoes take my pink school bag and rush to the dining to take my breakfast.
"Hey mom! Hey dad! Morning!" I said trying to chew on a bacon which for some reason was so chewy.
"Hello my princess"mum said smiling like she had just won a lottery.
Something about today seemed weird. More like I had a hunch about something...my hunches are always right. Wait a minute today is November 2 and I'm born on that date.."OMG! it's my-"
"Happy birthday pumpkin!" Both my parents yelled.
"Thanks guys!" I said with the best smile I could put up....
I quickly took my breakfast and rushed to the bus stop. Our school bus had just pulled over and well I boarded it. My best friend Alkeelah was already in the bus.
"Milia,hey!"she butted out like she was the only one in the bus. It was like ten thousand eyes had glanced at me all at the same time.
"Hey Alkee, what's up?" I said while walking up to her.@
It was a thirty minute ride to school so we got to school around 8:00am. I had a Biology class that morning so I brought out my textbooks and rushed to class.
"Submit your assignments everyone" Mr. Stonefield said.
I reach into my bag to find out mine isn't there. Peaches (my dog) must have removed it from my bag.
"Miss Emiliano Delarosa, where is your Bio assignment,?"
"Umm, Mr Stonefield, I left it at home."
He then gave me one of those dirty looks and I felt like crying.
School closed, got home and during dinner mum said..
"Mia Bella(my princess), your going to be spending two weeks with your aunt, Aunt Hil-"
"Hilda Red!" I said literally falling into a heart attack...."NOOO!"
