Hermione was at the whomping willow but Draco wasn't there, so she grabbed a long stick and touched the willow's roots with the stick of the willow didn't attack her. She sat at the base of the tree carefully to sit on the roots, started to read a book that was in her bag.
Hermione saw Draco striding over... the odd thing was that Crabbe and Goyle (Draco's best friend's, who always follow him) weren't with him. Curious and angry she shouted at Draco standing up, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Hermione screamed in "Hello to you too, I see you accepted my little note" he smirked. "You... you were the one who gave that note" Hermione whispered and fell to the ground looking confused. "Well I wasn't going to let you walk through these walls another year with the wrong impression on me," Draco said reasonably.
Hermione didn't say anything just patted the ground, Draco took the offer and sat next to her. Looking a little surprised the tree hadn't attacked him or her, he asked: "why isn't this tree attacking us?" "Because the roots are its weak spot, it won't hurt you if you touch its roots," Hermione said knowledgeably.
They talked back and forth hours as if... they had known each other for all they're lives. Hermione looked at her watch, "Oh... oh no... we were supposed to be in the school hours ago, I'm sorry Dragon" Hermione cried in surprise. She got up and grabbed everything, Dragon is Hermione's nickname for Draco. "There's no need to be sorry Hero, don't be so worried I do this all the time and I never get caught" Draco informed Hermione. Hero is Draco's nickname for Hermione."Maybe but my common room is further away, Dragon" come backed Hermione, Draco's eyes seemed to change she could see... success?"Alright, Hero, I will walk you to your common room, I mean it can't be any harder" Draco announced, leaving Hermione shocked and in hysterics.
"Be careful Dragon you're starting to sound like a Gryffindor" laughed Hermione. "Ha, you bring out the best in me Hero, anyway same time tomorrow" inquired Draco? "Sure, I'd like that... oh, by the way, I'm going to be doing homework" added Hermione, "you're always doing homework" laughed Draco. Draco stood up and walked to Hermione. Hermione and Draco held hands walking up to Hogwarts, together... forever.
