miss yer kiss

you and cole had been friends for a long time. you've always had feelings for him but there was this other girl. her and cole seemed to be quite close as well. you lost all hope in you and cole ever becoming anything more than friends. one day you were in your room listening to *your favorite album* on vinyl. your phone started to buzz and you saw that it was a message from cole.
c: hey wanna go for a picnic or some shit at _____. usually being there helps me get inspiration for song writing.
you were confused on why he didn't ask mandi (the other girl who was close to cole) but decided to go
y/n: of course I'll go :)
c: good:) i'll meet you there at 7:00?
y/n: yup

you decided to wear a jean jacket and a causal black dress since it was a bit cold. the park where cole asked you to meet him wasn't far from your house so you decided to walk. once you got there you couldn't find cole so you decided to give him a call but then you felt someone hug you from behind. you realized it was cole and smiled, "hey." "hi," said cole as he let go,"cmon i wanna show you where i usually go to write songs." you found it cute how eager cole was to show you where he comes up with all his song ideas so you followed him. once you got there you saw a really pretty river with a few trees and it was empty. it was a really nice area. you and cole set down a blanket and he brought some food. "hey how does this sound," he asked and then played a little bit of miss yer kiss. (lets say this was before drive north was created lmao) "wow.. cole that sounds really good," you replied  "you think so?" He asked and smiled. "I know so," you replied. he kept playing various chords on his guitar and he looked adorable. you wish you could call him yours but you doubted that he liked you. "hey y/n?" he asked. "hm?" you looked up and he pressed his lips against yours. you kissed back and it felt amazing. after a while you two broke the kiss and he seemed really smiley and giggly. "hey y/n?" said cole. "yeah?" you responded. "i love you," he said and smiled while playing with your hair. "i love you too," you replied.
