"Hi...guys. How you doing?" I asked. Jasper walked up to me and hugged me. Alice did the same when Jasper let go.

"W-what's going on?" I asked.

"We're proud of you. Because you didn't freak out when Paul was going to attack you." Alice said.

"H-how do you know about that?" I asked.

"Sam called. Alice can't see your future when you're around the pack." I nodded my head. We all headed back towards the house.

Everyone questioned me,and all. Rosalie apologized. Carlisle said I can't go near Bella for awhile. I said I wouldn't,and if she comes near me to walk away. Easy enough.

1 week later.

Edward finally came back. Today is his first day back at school. When Bella saw him in the parking lot her eyes lit up. Then she locked eyes with my and glared.

She's mad cause I've been ignoring her. Oh well.

When lunch rolled around Edward was eavesdropping on Bella's conversation with her friends. When Bella got up to get food Edward followed.

As we were watching him my phone vibrated. I looked down to see a text from Jared.

Jared 🐺: Hey, I'm picking you up after school today and tomorrow.

Me: okay,cool. I'll see you then.

When I looked back up Edward and Bella were laughing at each other. Bella mentioned La Push. That got my attention. All of us tuned in.

"So,a few of us are going down to the beach. Would you like to come with us?" She asked.

"W-what beach?" Edward asked.

"Uh... La Push."

"I uh...can't. " he said looking down.

"What is something wrong with that beach?" She asked giggling a bit.

"It's just crowded." He replied,and walked off. Smooth.
Next Day.
School was over the rain puddles turned into black ice. We were all standing around Edwards Volvo.

I was waiting on Jared. Bella came outside and smiled at Edward. When she reached her truck she put her book bag on the hood.

Jared pulled up on a motorbike. I smiled and said goodbye to my family.

"What is he doing here?" Edward asked.

"Cause he can be here." I replied. Jared hopped off his bike and walked over to me.

We hugged when we reached each other. All of the sudden we heard tires screeching. I looked over to see a black van go out of control. Straight towards Bella. Edward saw this and ran towards her.

"Edward don't!" I yelled. The family looked at me and back at Edward. The van stopped Edward rose up and looked around. He looked back down at Bella and took off.

"Jared let's go." I said. He nodded his head and handed me a helmet. My family got into their cars and took off.

Let's hope no one catches on to us. I wrapped my arms around Jared's torso.

Jared sped out of the parking lot and towards La Push. As we were riding I caught onto a new scent.

"JARED STOP!" I yelled so would here me. He skidded to a stop and pulled over.

"What's wrong?" He asked thinking I was hurt.

"Don't you smell that,it's a nomad scent." I said. He sniffed the air and nodded.

"Hold on." We hopped off and he hid his bike. We ran into the woods and he phased.

The scent wasn't fresh but it was there. Maybe I can find them...
