A New Sky

Chapter 1

~4 years old~

Why did no one care when I came home all bruised and banged up? Mommy never looked at me with worried eyes she only said that I looked disgusting and I should clean myself up. So I did.
Why did my brother hate me when I loved him? He always pushed me away whenever I tried to play with him. He said that I was unnecessary for his family. So I stopped trying to play with him.
Why does daddy not see me whenever he comes back home? I ran to the door to give him a hug but he just walked past me and gave Ieyasu a hug, saying that he loves his only son. So I left them alone.
Was I just not good enough for them? Do they really hate me? Was I actually useless? I started getting smarter and more athletic. I tried to keep my grades low so I wouldn't attract any attention. I tried to be clumsy so people would focus more on Ieyasu. I did everything so Ieyasu could shine and I would be left alone. I still got bullied but I didn't care, they eventually think that I am too hurt to get back up but once they leave I clean myself off and go home.

~8 years old~

I started to learn how to hack, that way I could earn money instead of asking Nana-san, Nana-san didn't want me to call her mom or Ieyasu my brother or Iemistu my dad, for some reason and only getting a few cents. Ieyasu got more popular and he was considered extremely smart for our age. He was continuously asked to join many clubs especially sport ones. No one ever asked me since they have forgotten about my existence not that they would of if they​ did notice me.
I am struggling on learning my fifth language it's Chinese. I already know Japanese, English, Korean, and Spanish but I will master the Chinese language. Nana-san is starting to forget that I live with her so I now have to learn how to cook for myself. Iemitsu-san is coming home today, I would say hi but I'm pretty sure he would ignore again. So I just stay in my room that way I don't disturb them.

~15 years old~

Today I brought in the mail and put it on the counter of the kitchen so Oka- Nana-san could see it. I notice that there was a flyer for a tutor, it said
"To make your child a leader for the new generation hire Reborn. All he need is an espresso every morning and a place to live."
It was painfully obvious that it was a scam. Reborn hmm it is most likely the arcobaleno that will train Ieyasu. Tsuna checked his watch and started leaving for school. As soon as I got there I headed straight to the roof. I looked around and made sure no one was there not even the demon prefect. I laid down and looked up at the sky not even realizing I had fallen asleep. I was awoken by the bell that signaled you were late I knew that the prefect would bite those who were late at the gate so I grabbed my things and hurried to class, no one saw me come in. So I just sat by my seat that was near the window. As soon as school was done I ran home, got into my room, and locked the door behind me. I got to my laptop and opened it to see a few hacking  request most were about the Vongola Decimo which I denied others were about asking me to join them also denied. I only did the ones that had nothing to do with Vongola or myself. I heard the door ring but knew that no one was going to get it so I went downstairs​ to open it. I felt the killing intent that was behind that door and it sent shivers down my spine and an amused smile on my face. I opened the door and saw a child standing there.
"Are you Sawada Ieyasu?" asked the baby I shook my head no. I opened the door wide to signal he could come in. I took him to the living room to where Ieyasu was at.
"Ara who are you? Are you lost?" asked Nana.
"I am Reborn the home tutor here for Ieyasu." he said. Nana told Ieyasu to take him to his room and he did. Just as I was going to mine he said he needed to talk to us both. He said who Ieyasu was going to be and what he will be doing. As soon as everything was all said and done I went back to my room. The first person to come was Gokudera Hayato who challenged Ieyasu. Ie won and Gokudera lost and started following Ie everywhere he went like a lost puppy. Then it was the baseball star with the fake smile Yamamoto Takeshi. Ie said something and Yamamoto almost committed suicide. It was starting to get crowded at home which meant time for me to leave. I emptied out my room and got an apartment in Tokyo I moved out but no one seemed to notice. I enrolled in a highschool that allowed part time jobs. I worked at a cafe called Sky. I stopped hacking when I moved away but I still have a lot of money left from when I still did it. I saved about $150,000,000 but I only take from that when necessary.
~time skip 5 years later~
I am now starting my first year of college. I still work at the same cafe and I am happier now. I talk a lot more than I used to since people now notice me. Today was my turn to close up so I didn't get home till 10pm. I was doing my nightly routine and I was already in bed when I heard a knock on my door. I got up and opened it slightly not removing the chain that was there. Two men were standing there one with a fedora and curly side burns the other with a scar on his chin and sad brown eyes.
"Is this Sawada Tsunayoshi's home?" asked the brown eyed one who seemed extremely​ familiar.
"Yes why?" asked Tsuna.
"May we come in so we can talk? It's about your brother." asked the other. Without answering them he shut the door which surprised them both a bit. Thinking that Tsuna didn't want to talk to them but then saw the door open again with him saying come inside.
"Can I get you anything tea, coffee, water?" asked Tsuna. Both asked for a cup of coffee. When he brought the cups back they were surprised at how good it tasted.
"It's because I work at a cafe that they are good. Now tell me why are you here?" asked Tsuna.
"We have some bad news, while in a shoot out your brother was hit and before he died he wanted us to find you and say he was sorry." said the curly side burns one. Tsuna was conflicted on how he was feeling sad because his brother is dead, mad because it took him this long to say sorry, upset because he can't see his brother anymore, and frustrated that Tsuna was not there before he died. He felt all that on the inside but on the outside he looked expressionless. Then he heard someone yelling at him which snapped him back to the conversation.
"---OU BE CRYING OR YELLING OR AT LEAST SHOWING SOME EMOTION?" yelled the one with the scar.
"YAMAMOTO ENOUGH." yelled the other. Yamamoto huh, now I remember that is Yamamoto Takeshi. So that other one must be Reborn Ie's tutor, 'Looks like the curse was lifted' thought Tsuna.
"There is another reason we came here. We need you to take your brother's place since you are the last candidate."said Reborn.
"What if I don't want to take his place? I mean I am fully content with how I am here." I asked.
"All of your brother's hard work would go to waste we would crumble and fall. But if you do accept you will have his guardians, power, authority, money." said Reborn.
"Really I can have all that? Then I would be strong and I can finally get revenge on those who hurt me." said Tsuna putting a smile on his face. Reborn was looking at him upset that, that was what the brother wanted. The smile disappeared and turned into a frown. "Do you actually think I care about that?!"yelled Tsuna.
"I am just a substitute or in this case a last resort since the chosen one is dead." I said. Both of them widened their eyes at what I had said.
"No we didn't mean it like that we-" tried to explain Yamamoto.
"I have been living in peace for five years without having the mafia interfere. But all of a sudden you come knocking at my door since you need a new Decimo." Tsuna said in a voice that made the hairs on the back of their necks stand. "And let me tell you this I am the oldest child being the oldest counts for something. Iemistu forgot he had another son and if you don't believe me ask him yourself."Tsuna said as KI started radiating off him.
"Let me just say this I will never ever take my brother's place. I am fine where I am so don't come to me. And if you guys ever come to my school or work I will torture you guys to death." said Tsuna. He got up and opened the door. "Get out and leave don't you ever come back. I would say it was nice seeing you again but I hate lying." Tsuna said with venom leaking out of his words. They didn't​ even realize when they were walking towards the door and out of Tsuna's home. As soon as they got out Tsuna shut the door and locked it.
'How did I not see it?' Reborn thought. Tsuna would help end all of the bloodshed he could be the one that would bring Vongola back to its rightful place. He is just going to be hard to convince. Now how are we going to explain this to Nono.
