A New Sky

Chapter 8 (part 1)

Mukuro slowly opens his eyes and is slightly confused at where he is soon the memories hit him like a truck and his face turns beet red. He finally calms down his heart and looks at the small man sleeping like an angel. Unconsciously Mukuro moves his hand to his new bosses face and lightly caresses his soft smooth cheek. Tsuna begins to stir in his sleep and Mukuro is shocked at what he was just doing to the brother of his fallen old boss. Tsuna wakes up and gently rubs his eyes with his hand. Mukuro can only watch how cute his boss can be. Tsuna still being in the sleepy haze he's in turns to Mukuro and smiles. He starts to snuggle up with the heterochromatic eyed man without any realization of what he is doing Tsuna lifts himself up to sit on the bed and gives Mukuro a kiss on the cheek. Tsuna gets off the bed and heads to his bathroom still in a sleepy haze. Mukuro is shocked at what had just happened and reaches to touch his cheek. As realization starts to sink in Mukuro turns red and his face becomes hot. He gets out of the bed and starts running out the door to his own room without a second thought. Once he reaches his room he decides that it's best to just try and forget what had just occurred and he goes to get ready for the day. After finishing getting ready Mukuro leaves his room and puts up a front like he usually does.

Tsuna comes out of his bathroom to an empty bed and he just shrugs at the emptiness, he goes back into his bathroom to get ready for the day because he feels that today he should be extra cautious since he knew that something was going to happen today. He left his room after getting ready and headed straight to Chrome's room. After two knocks the door opened and Tsuna just said time to go.

"Where do you two think you're going?" asked Gokudera with an expression of interest.

"Well I have to go to the hospital to get a checkup and since I don't need everyone there I was just planning on having Chrome come with me," Tsuna said as he walked past Gokudera with Chrome following close behind.

"What do you mean!? Are you ok? What is the check up about? Are you going to die?" questioned Gokudera, not realizing that Tsuna was starting to get upset.

"WILL YOU SHUT UP!!, I am going to have a check up so I know that I am completely healthy. It will be ok Chrome will be there with me, nothing to worry about." Tsuna said looking at Gokudera with reassuring eyes. All he could do was let them go through because he knew that there was no way he would change his new boss' mind.

~At the Hospital~

"Ok let's look at your scan Mr.Sawada. Well all of your organs seem to be healthy and you are healing at an unbelievable rate." said the doctor as he looks at Tsuna's medical record. "If you wouldn't mind I would like to run some more tests on you to see why you are able to heal so quickly" once the doctor said this Tsuna automatically said no. The doctor looked baffled at such a quick response but said alright because he couldn't force him to do anything.

"Well since that is everything I assume that I am free to go and that there will be no more need to schedule any check-ups," Tsuna said as he started getting off of the bed that he was on. The doctor shook his head, yes and that was more than enough to have Tsuna drag Chrome out of there as fast as he could.

"Chrome something feels off about the doctor that was just there. We need to be careful with him he is... different."

The doctor takes another look at the chart and picks up his phone to call someone."Hello?... It's me...yes he just left... no, I couldn't get the sample... I know...we'll just have to take it by force... yes I know my mission... I will not disappoint you like the last one" with that done the doctor removes his glasses and starts preparing for what is about to come.

~At Home~

"We are back! Is anyone home?" Tsuna turns to look at Chrome but sees that she has disappeared. " That's weird... I have a bad feeling. GOKUDERA! YAMAMOTO! Mukuro...? ANYONE!?" Tsuna starts to panic he runs all around the house looking for the maids, guards, butlers, and his guardians. He looked everywhere for anyone but all he found was absolutely nothing and no one. Tsuna heads to his room and starts thinking of a way to get his friends back from where ever they where. As he's thinking about his friends something starts trickling down his face. He realizes that he is crying and all he can do is keep going because he remembers how painful it was to be all alone, having no one there. He stops his tears and thinks about how he is going to get everyone back because whoever did this don't know with whose family they are messing with. Tsuna can feel someone watching him and he jumps out of the room and starts running even though he doesn't know what he is running away from. What he does know is that he doesn't recognize the person watching him in his room. Tsuna turns around and sees that no one is there. His hyper intuition kicks in and he jumps to the right side as a bullet is shot at him.

"Who are you and what do you want?" a sudden realization of how his friends went missing came flooding into his head. "Did... Did you take them? Where are my friends?" Tsuna tried to keep the sadness out of his voice but it didn't work. The man saw this as an opportunity to break Tsuna down.

"Are you talking about the weaklings that tried to stop me? Don't worry I ended their lives quick and painless. Now all I need to do is finish you off and my mission will be complete." the man starts running towards Tsuna knives out ready to kill him. Tsuna just stands at the corner of where he is hiding thinking about what the man has just said. The man appears at where Tsuna is and goes for the killing blow.
