⊤Starting Over⊥
After being away from Korea from what seems like forever, she is finally home. She runs to meet her brother and best friend. They gave her warm smiles before giving her big hugs which she missed dearly.
Her name is Im Cho Hee, but her close friends and family call her Yani. She is a deaf and mute highschool girl, not much to say. That is her brother Im Jae Bum and her best friend Kim Taehyung.
As she enjoyed the warmth of her brother she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turns to her best friend smiling happily. The brown haired boy looked at her returning her smile. Taehyung has been her bestfriend since childhood. They met since our parents were good friends so they've practically been together since birth.
"How have you been, how was America" he signed. Taehyung learned sign language with Yani after the accident.
"It was nice, very different than Korea." Yani signed back earning smiles from both.
"Did anyone bully you in America, tell me the truth Yani."JB signed asking her with a serious face. Her over protective brother the same as always.
"No"Yani replied with a reasurring smile.
People pass by given them strange looks as they see us signed to each other. None of them really minded it since they are used to the stares as this is how all their conversations usually go with the two speaking occasionaly but still signing so Yani can know what they are saying.
"Well lets head home then"JB responded returning Yani's smile. The boys helped her with the bags as they walk to the car. After the long drive home JB and tae helped Yani put her bags in her room. She jumped on the bed tired from the jet lag. She feels herself jump as both JB and tae jump onto the bed. After laying for a while JB gets up,
"How about some food?"JB asks. Yani and tae make eye contact before nodding back.
Now it is just the two of them.
"I missed you, you do know that right?", Tae signed as Yani felt her eye lids get heavier.
"Of course i knew, and i missed you too." Yani signed back. She felt his arms wrap around her as she scooted closer before drifting off to sleep.

Taehyung's P.O.V~
It's been so long since he has seen Yani and he has to admit that he really did miss his best friend. He has been worried that she would get bullied in America. If she did she would tell him but that doesn't stop him from worring.As the two layed in the bed Taehyung turned to Yani
"I missed you, you do know that right?", He asked Yani as he saw her eyes starting to close slightly, being tired from the flight.
"Of course i knew, and i missed you too." she responded with a small smile on her face. With that he pulled her into his embrace as she gladdly moved closer. With that her breathing steadied and assuming she fell alseep. Taehyung looked down and gave Yani a kiss on her forehead before falling asleep.
{Time skip}
Yani's P.O.V~
She wakes up to see Tae laying beside her. 'He looks so cute when he's asleep', Yani thought to herself . As she closes her eyes to drift back to sleep the smell of food fills her nose. She sit up and pushes Tae to wake him up so he can eat with her. After getting frustrated with him as he stirs but refuses to wake up she pushes him off the bed. With that he wakes up and glares at her from the floor.
"What was that for?" he signed looking a little annoyed as always when she wakes him. "I smell foods, eat with me" Yani replied as she got up to change into comfortable clothes.
She grabs a pair of shorts and a big t shirt which is either Tae's or JB's . She shrugs it off as she makes her way to the restroom to change. As she walks out she looks at her phone. It is 5 pm already. She made my way to the kitchen to see tae changed into sweat pants sitting at the table.
"You too finally wake up after hours huh",JB asked. Yani gave him a cheeky simle as she sat down next to Tae as JB set down the plates. Yani turned her head as Tae tapped her shoulder.
"Why are you wearing my shirt again" he asked Yani. She turned to see JB looking down chuckling them meeting her glare.
"Why wouldn't i if it was so easy to grab since you always leave your clothes here." she responded simply. He pouted and she simply smiled in response. Soon he returned her smiled, "it's okay i guess", he responded. With that she signed "thank you for the food" as she looks to Tae seeing him say it out loud before they all started eating.
Once they were almost done with their plates JB tapped the table in order to get Yani's attention. As she felt the vibrations, she looked up.
"Yani you'll be attending school with Taehyung again", JB signed. Yani gulped and hesitated before signing back. "That's great",Yani replied with a small smile.
As JB let her hesitation pass Taehyung didn't. He immediently look up after hearing the statement be said to see Yani looking a bit nervous. He will ask her later about it but for now he kept quiet.
Yani and Taehyung decide go walk around the streets of Seoul after eating. Yani stays close to Taehyung as she didn't want to have any trouble with people. They both made their way to a cafe.
"I want hot chocolate and a piece of cake." Yani signed to Tae as the lady waited to take their order. As it was another cold day in Seoul she thought it would be a perfect day for hot chocolate.
"What are you suppose to say Yani?" Tae signed back before he placed their orders.
"Can i please have hot chocolate and a piece of cake Tae oppa~", she replied with a pouting face. Tae gladly accepted her request before turning to the lady and asking for her order.
After some time they happily began to eat their food.
"Yani are you okay with going back to school here?" Tae asked. Memories flowed into her mind as she remembers being push around and bullied when tae was not around. She often got her hearing aids taken away from the same boy. Jeon Jungkook. She quickly pushed those thoughts out of her head as she gave tae a small smile.
"I'll be okay.",Yani responded. "Im going to go to the bathroom" she signed before getting up only to only to bump into a boy.The two fell onto the ground from the collision.
Yani looked up to meet the boys eyes. He was pretty good looking but that thought quickly went away as she realized who it was. Speak of the devil.
"Yah! Can you not see or something?!"
