Cotton Candy Heart

_Prolouge_

I remember the day like it was yesterday. It was the last day I heard my family's voice. More or less anybody's voice.

{Flashback}

We were on our way to buy a keyboard for little me. I fell in love with the sound the first time i heard it. It flowed through my head and into my life. I was only 6 at the time but it was wonderful and i knew at that moment, it was something i wanted to play.

I fell asleep on the car ride there, but i soon awoke when i heard my parents argue. They sounded mad but to this day i will never know why. As I waited to see how the conversation would continue I felt a great impact as our car had crashed into another.

The next thing you know i woke up in a hospital. There were white walls that surrounded me, until my eyes landed onto JB , he looked like he was crying. I tried to call out to him but i couldn't.

'What is wrong with me' i thought. No sound came out of my mouth.

I started to squirm in the bed and thats when JB noticed me.

He began to say something but as he talked no words came out of his mouth. I couldn't hear him.

Once again i tried to respond but couldn't. As he saw me struggling to say something he began to cry. 'Why is he crying', many thoughts flowed in my head.

He stood up and walked towards me and gave me a hug. I could feel his body shaking as he cried but everything was silent. After a while he grabbed a piece of paper and wrote onto it.

"How do you feel Yani", he wrote.

I responded writing also since no words came from my mouth.

"Okay i guess, Where's everyone and why can't i say nothing or hear you.", i wrote on the paper.

His eyes began to water and then my thoughts went to worse. I didn't have to see what he wrote on the paper to know.

"I'm sorry Yani, but mom and dad died. And you became deaf and lost your voice.", he wrote on the paper that now i wish i had never seen.

This was now my life. And there was no waking up.

{End Flashback}

As Yani woke up from her sleep she began to get off the plan as she contemplated why her thoughts went to those times.

As she walked away from the gate she saw a familiar figure, two actually. One was her brother and the other her goofy Bestfriend who was holding a sign. She was back in Korea.
