When I pulled into her driveway, she turned to say goodnight, but seemed to think better of it and gave me a wild grinned before leaning in and really... kissing me senseless. We pulled apart just as her father opened the door to glare at us. When she went to get out of the truck, so did I, knowing that I couldn't let him lecture only her, it wasn't fair.

"Lacey Quinn Jacobs, why did I just get a call from my patroling officers from Hascal?

She looked down and murmured, "I'm sorry Daddy. We weren't doing anything except talking, I promise. We just wanted somewhere that we could see the stars up close, really feel close to the heavens..." she looked up with her eyes big and teary, but not in a fake way, this was her honestly feeling bad about worrying him. She's a damn angel... How did she get a mate like Me?

Get fathers eyes softened until he turned them on me, and they hardened with steely rage, "and You! I really expected more from you, Al- Jackson," he nearly slipped up and called me Alpha. I'm truly surprised he even has the courage to try to scold me like a pup, since he's merely a normal pack member, and I'm the Alpha, but I'm impressed. I might have to raise his station for this.

But instead, I played the guilty teenage boy, "I'm sorry, Sir. It won't happen again, I really only took her up there because you can watch the airplanes take off, and it's a beautiful place to get to know a beautiful girl. She really is something special," I said, looking at my mate lovingly, before turning back to Sheriff Jacobs, "but sir, you should know that the officers that arrested us were awful, it wouldn't have bothered me if they were just rude to me, but they nearly slammed her hand in the door when she made a joke that happened to make one angry."

He looked at her with worry, nodding and then turning back to me, "thank you for telling me, I'll look into it. I'll let you say goodnight, but I trust it will be respectful and decent," he looked at me pointedly, and I nodded.

He went inside and Lacey let out a shakey laugh, before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around my torso in a hug. I hugged her back and tightly as I could without hurting her and waiting until she moved to let go before I did. She reached to take my jacket off of her shoulders, but I stopped her, "no, it looks better on you, love, you keep it. I should probably head out before my mother starts to worry," I started to turn away, but she caught my hand and pulled my back, going up onto her toes to press a kiss to my lips. It was soft, and sweet, not hungry and full of anger like I was used to with the pack girls. She pulled away and hurried into her house before I could really do anything. I walked back to the truck in a daze before gathering myself to drive home. When I walked into my parents house, I felt like I was walking on a cloud, completely tuned out of the world.

My mother looked up from her book when I got to the living room doorway, "So I take it the date went well?" She had a grin that told me she knew it did. I nodded and sat on the couch next to her, and she put her book away so that she could focus on me, "tell me all about it, sweetie."

"She's... Goddess mama, she's an angel... We went to Hascal, but only to talk and listen to music and look at the planes take off... She has the most amazing singing voice, and she has these eyes that just pull you in, they make you want to do anything for her. Mama, we almost got arrested, but went the police lights started flashing, something changed in her, like someone flipped a switch and she turned into this absolute hurricane... let me start from the beginnin-" she stood suddenly and ran to the kitchen to get a soda and a bag of chips, then came back to sit down.

I rolled my eyes but started talking again, "
We drove right past that no trespassing sign, we parked on the cliff and watched the planes take off. We thought we had all night that there was no need to rush, but that's when those cops came pulling up, and I thought 'Man, ain't this some shit... herr daddy's gonna kill me but if I survive tonight i wouldn't change one thing.' Mama, I know it sounds crazy, but there was something about the way the blue lights were shining, bringing out the freedom in her eyes. I was too busy watching her going wild child to even be worried about going to jail she was thinking that running for it would make a good story, I was thinking she was crazy as hell. She was so innocent, but she was stealing my heart... I fell in love in the back of a cop car.

Man, they weren't playin' they sure threw those cuffs on quick she tried to sweet talk them... They didn't fall for it, but I did. She was on the left, I was on the right. I knew she didn't smoke, but she asked him for a light, and I laughed and he got mad and slammed the door, almost getting her hand in there.

I don't know, mama but side by side, locked in tight, they were taking their time, but we didn't mind becauae we talked, and laughed, we sat real close, and by the time they let us go... I was already gone."

When I looked back at my mom, she was smiling so big it could break her face, while crying at the same time, which made me panic a little, "mama, what's wrong?!"

She just shook her head and smiled more.

AN: I used the lyrics from Cop Car by Keith Urban, but I changed quite a few lines to for the story. I do not own this song, I just love it.
