That night, Rapunzel packed her things and grabbed all of her money (and half of Gothel's). She was afraid to do this but when Jack would hold her hand and help her through, she wasn't as scared anymore.

Gothel woke up, screaming for her daughter's name, having no response back. She knew this day would come, that the girl would finally be smart enough to leave their abusive relationship. Gothel tried to avoid it as much as possible, moving from place to place so that people won't give her any ideas.

They decided to change their looks and their names. Rapunzel decided to change hers to Dame Corona and Jack changed his name to Jack Frost.

They went to the parlor and Dame cut her hair short and dyed it brown. Jack dyed his hair white and got blue contact lenses.

They decided to live in Dame's old farm in Corona, where she was born. She mentioned that she had plenty of people who would gladly take care of her there.

They got on the bus and they were off to Corona. It was two bus rides and a train ride there. Dame leaned on Jack's shoulder and fell asleep while he looked out the window, thinking about how he's leaving all of it behind.

Two bus rides and a crowded train ride later, they stood in front of a big farm that a tall, brunet boy Dame endearingly calls Eugene runs.

He gave them a place to sleep and taught them how to farm. Jack struggled with the job and decided to find a job outside instead.

He managed to be a laborer at an ice business that he later learned was Arendelle's. A man named Kristoff gave him a job despite him not finishing high school.

For years, the two worked hard to earn money. Due to Jack's diligence, he constantly gets promoted and he managed to grow wealthy.

Dame and Jack got married at 30. They built their house right next to the farm. Dame still continued to plant crops and nurse the animals but she also teaches art in a nursery and sells paintings on the side.

Jack auditioned for Arendelle's hockey team, which was a team that victoriously wins championships every year. Jack forgot how to play hockey but his instincts guided him to pass the audition he worked hard to practice for.

In the end, the two lived harmoniously with one another and they never once regretted their decisions.

"Jack?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks for giving me a second chance."

A/N: Ta-da! The end! Told you it was going to be short.

Anyway, I actually thought about it when I was bored at the airport. Thought it'd be cute but I'm pretty dark so I made it really sad.

So, I hope you enjoyed this little story. Vote if you like it and yeah, maybe I'll make more short stories? It puts off the pressure of making filler chapters I don't need or want to write.
