Karthik was sleeping, peacefully hugging Naira, like usual. His mind went back to the accident he saw today. He was getting restless, he felt he had seen the same thing happen before, not just seen but been a part of it, he was asleep but his mind was working, thinking, he saw a girl and boy in a car, he felt that he was the boy. A truck banged the car from the side and he got up with a start.
"What happened baby", Naira asked, but Karthik didn't answer. The accident he saw today, the accident he saw in his sleep, kept roaming in front of his eyes, he saw Naira's face, slowly the memories came in, these 3 months, Naira's tears, her pain that she tried to hide, then the day of accident, the six months of pregnancy, Naira's announcement to him, the secret second wedding, their decision of having a baby, their successful carriers, Naira making him realize that Suvarna and Manish love him, lots of dramas, kirti naksh relationship disclosure infront of the family, the 4 wonderful years of marriage, the wedding journey, Karthik entry back to GV, Akshara accident, Kaira love confession, Kaira in Switzerland, Kaira friendship, his bonding with Singhanias and Maheshwari, Kaira in Udaipur, Kaira first meet, every thing till his childhood came to him slowly.
"Kya hua baby", she called out shaking him. He engulfed her into a big tight hug.
"I am here jaan", he whispered into her ears. Naira broke the hug and looked at him and it was enough to know her Karthik, her mendak was back. She flunged her arms around him and hugged him tight, breaking down, she weeped like a baby, letting out all the pain, she had bottled up in these three months.
"I am sorry mendak, am sorry. I lost your princess", she cried and treats flew down Karthik's eyes as well, but he wiped it before Naira could notice.
"Uss mein tumhari kya galti Naira. Tumhari koyi galti nahi thi", he said cupping her face between his palms and wiping her tears with his thumbs.
"Nahi, Karthik, sarri galti meri hai, na mein zid karti, na hi hum bahar jaate", said Naira
"Agar hum bahar nahi jaate, woh ghar ke andar waar karte.", he answered and Naira looked at him confused
"Humara accident hua tha, toh woh ghar ke andar waar , tum kya keh rahe ho", she asked
"Kuch nahi, mein bas yehi kehna chata tha ke jo hona hota hai, woh ho kar rehta hai", he said
"Yehi baat mere ankhon mein ankhe dal kar bolo", she asked him making him face her. Their was something he was hiding.
"Happy Anniversary", he wished, trying to divert the topic. She looked at the calendar and the watch it was around 1 am. It was their first meet Anniversary, the day they met in Rishikesh, the day her mendak entered her life, and now again he came back to her today.
"Happy Anniversary Mendak", she said wrapping her arms around him.
After moments tears were flowing down her eyes again. Karthik wiped them.
"Jaan, everything is okay now, everything is going to go good", he whispered into her ear rubbing her back.
"Karthik tumhe yaad hai, we had counted what day 9 months would end on and it came on this day. Aaj hum shayad hospital mein hote, ya phir tumhari princess tumhare haton mein hoti. Lekin woh humari zindagi mein anne se phele humein chod ke chali gayi", she sobbed and tears began to stream down Karthik's eyes as well, remembering the child they loved so much even before she stepped in to this world.
"Naira humari princess ek din, humare pass zarror laut kar ayegi, lekin please tum usse dantna maat, yeh khe kar ke usse itni der kyun lag gayi.", Karthik said wiping her tears and his own.
"Naira, bahut raat ho gayi hai. Tumhe aram karna chaiye", He said making her lay down on the bed.
"Nahi Karthik, abhi humein gharwalo ko bhi batana hoga, sab kitne khush honge", said Naira
"Ab bahut raat ho gayi hai. Who sab so rahe honge. Disturb nahi karte. Tum bhi so jao", he said caressing her forehead, she wrapped her hand around him and snuggled closer.
"I am sorry Naira, mein ne abhi ke liye saach chipku, magar abhi mein tumhe uss accident ki purri sachayi nahi bataya, lekin bahut jald bataunga.", Karthik spoke to himself remembering the accident.

Flashback
The truck crashed the car, hitting Karthik side first, causing him to immediately go in an unconscious state, the blow the truck gave the car was strong, Naira was pushed side ways her stomach hitting the door, she screamed in pain, Karthik was unconscious but could hear her, he collected all his strength and opened his eyes, but by that time Naira had closed her eyes. Karthik pushed the seat back, got out. He tried to wake Naira up but wasn't able to. He looked around and saw the truck was still there but it had moved a bit back. He saw the car driver getting down and walking towards him.
"Bhaiya please, meri madat kejiye, mujhe apni biwi ko hospital le janna hai", he begged in front of the man for help. The man walked closer, nodding a yes, Karthik smiled through his tears but the next second the man hit him with a blunt metal object and Karthik fell down wounded.

"Mein ne apni Naira ko pal pal marta dekha hai inn teen mahino mein, aur jiss ki bhi wajhe se woh sab hua, mein chiding nahi. I promise you Naira, jiss ne tumhe itna dard diya, jiss ne humari princess ko hum se cheen liya, usse nahi bakshunga", Karthik promised a sleeping Naira.
