-Girl’s P. O. V.-

When Sandy finally stopped, I could hear something breaking, like glass, and then there’s this distinct smell of coffee and chocolate, and the sound of an angry voice. It was a male voice, fairly deep, with an accent. I think I’m the one he’s swearing at. I ruined his food.

"WTF do you think you’re doing?!? I spent two weeks taking those high quality shots! My camera, it’s ruined, and I don’t even have a spare memory card for those pictures!”  he shouted.

“ You don’t know how hard it is to be a photographer, do ‘ya?!?”

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry.” I said as I knelt on the floor, and started to feel my way to pick the broken pieces of glassware.

I felt the tray and took the stuff off the floor. Something felt mushy and glassy. Shard by shard, putting it into the tray, since I can’t find a paper bag. Even though my hands have started to ache, I still continue to clean up the mess. It’s a little bit embarrassing, I am a bit mad at Sandy, but I couldn’t blame him, I haven’t fed that little puppy since this morning.

Thank God he finally stopped swearing the moment I started to pick it up. I kinda thought he would never quiet down. Honestly, that was the first time I’ve ever heard such extreme bad words.

I’m a dead girl. Not only have I ruined his dinner, I’ve also broken his camera. Oh, the guilt, it’s starting to eat me up!

By the time I think I’m halfway through, the man talked again.

“ Stop it. What are you, stupid? You’re bleeding, can’t  you see? ” he said, taking both of my hands, and removing the goo with a paper towel.

“ I’m really sorry—“

“You’re apologizing for bleeding? [gyaaah] Never mind that, let’s get your wounds cleaned up.” He started to have a calm but irritated tone.

“ But what about my dog, Sandy?”

“ Don’t worry, I tied him to the table.” and I could hear that retriever yelp, non-stop.
