“Here you go,” Lauren showed up beside me, handing me a cold bottle of beer. I smiled at her before I took a sip of my beer. I looked down at the ground before I looked at the band on the stage again; Collin’s the lead singer of the band. To be honest, his voice’s actually great and the songs that they were playing were very I don’t know . . . slow and calming. I was actually enjoying the performance. I looked at Collin and his eyes were glued to Lauren’s. I glanced quickly at Lauren, she was smiling. I sighed to myself.
I took another sip of my beer and looked around; I noticed that there were a lot of couples in this place. I focused back to the stage and I noticed the guitarist smiling at me, I decided to play along and gave him a shy smile.

“I’m going to go and find Collin. And, when I’m doing that don’t—”
I cut Lauren off, “Go to a stranger’s place without telling you? Yes, ma’am.” Lauren smirked as she rolled her eyes.
“Just . . . don’t do anything stupid, Vic,” she said before she left me alone.
I walked around slowly, searching for that guitarist. Probably, we’re going to make out and fuck . . . or just make out since Lauren doesn’t want me to do that with another stranger anymore but, I just can’t seem to find him anywhere.
“Hi.”
That has got to be the guitarist. I turned around to face him but, it turned out that he’s definitely not the guitarist. I looked at his face for a while, dark brown hair, light blue eyes, and thin lips. He looks nice . . . too nice.
“Uh, can I help you?” I said, my voice sharp.
His lips formed into a tiny smile, “My name’s Luca,” he paused. “I saw you in the crowd from the stage and—”
“Whoa. What?” I cut him off. I looked at him, amused. “You’re in that band with Collin?” he nodded and he smiled again, “I’m the drummer.”
“Well, if you’re in that band, have you seen the guitarist?” I asked. His smile faded as he rubbed the back of his neck, “Ryder? You’re looking for him? Why?”
“Oh, so his name’s Ryder, huh?” I smirked. “Thanks, Lucas. I’m going to go find Ryder now,” I said as I walked away from him.
“Actually my name’s Luca, not Lucas,” I heard him behind me. I ignored him and rolled my eyes,
What a freak.
