Goodbye Life, Hello Kidnapped

Run!!

     We couldn't believe our luck, I mean we were out. But that didn't mean we were free yet!
"Hurry up, we can't risk being caught" Jake yelled more out of fear of the unknown. I get it though, this wasn't some video game. Mike and Jake were just a bit ahead of me and Kendra but none of us had a clue where it was we were running to, I mean this wasn't home!!
      "Why do you think they wanted us!" I curiously questioned.
      "We are completely different, and from different areas, what reason could there be" Kendra stated but kinda more out of question.
      We ran for what seemed like forever before we saw what was a small town ahead of us. "Ahhh, we're saved" Mike gleefully cheered pumping his fist into the air.
  I started laughing, I mean he's such a goofball. "Mike what the heck" I laughed to him.
  "That was beautiful and you know it" he smirked back at me.
   We all ran into some weird store, heading straight for a big rounding cash register not far from the enterance.
   " Excuse me, please help us!" Jake rushed to the cashier. The lady had shoulder length brown hair, some round purple glasses a bit too big, black pants and a kitty sweater that was loose on her skinny frame , looking about late 40s.
  "Yes of course" she exclaimed.
  "Call the police, it's urgent" Jake replied back to her.
  "Are you okay, of course just come back here behind the desk" she said showing us where to enter in the big circle counter. She must have saw how freaked we were because she dialed right after and told them that we were all frazzled and said to call them.
  "They will be here as quick as they can" she said to us all, Kendra sitting snuggled up to me protectively. We sat and about five minutes later we were walking outside to meet the police. Mike and Jake followed behind us rushing to the cop car.
  "Help us please we were kidnapped" Kendra said as she knew I wasn't feeling safe out in the open.
  "Tell us your names" the cop said with his pen pad out.
She told the cops our names but he said something that really scared us.
  "There's only the two of you" he said so we both looked behind us....he was right.
   " N-no there was two boys with us" Kendra stuttered back rushed. We held on to eachother almost as a safety that no one else would be taken.
